近些年，中國(guó)人尤其是年輕一代越來(lái)越重視西方節(jié)日，特別是圣誕節(jié)、情人節(jié)，而對(duì)本土的節(jié)日特別是春節(jié)、七夕節(jié)的興趣有所淡化。有人認(rèn)為這是“文化入侵Culturalinvasion

”，斥責(zé)那些接受“洋節(jié)”的人“崇洋媚外worshipandhaveblindfaithinforeignthings

”。另一部分人則認(rèn)為這種情形是中西文化交流與融合combinations的正常表現(xiàn)，在中國(guó)人接受外國(guó)節(jié)日的同時(shí)，外國(guó)人也在接受中國(guó)的節(jié)日，我們沒有必要為此過(guò)分擔(dān)心。2021/5/939

文化背景的不同

中國(guó)的主要傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日都是由歲時(shí)節(jié)令轉(zhuǎn)換而來(lái)的，具有濃厚的農(nóng)業(yè)色彩。而西方的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日大多來(lái)源于基督教，帶有濃厚的宗教色彩。

從辭源學(xué)上看，“節(jié)”最初在漢字中是指植物葉與枝交接的部位，引申為季節(jié)、節(jié)氣，隨后又引申出節(jié)日的意義。

而在英語(yǔ)中，“節(jié)日”(holiday/holyday)一詞本義就是“神的日子”，或者“獻(xiàn)身宗教的日子”。
