16、e就是將所有的統計標本按順序排列,再從頭到尾分為個數相同的4堆quartile就是第一堆的最后一個,或是第二堆的第一個題目中,50個數,一定知道median是第25個或第26個同樣,quartile是第12或是13個,the third quartile當然是37或是38個至于到底是37還是38,GRE不會為難你的,這兩個數肯定一樣對Quartile的說明：Quartile（四分位數）：第0個Quartile實際為通常所說的最小值（MINimum）第1個Quartile（En：1st Quartile）第2個Quartile實際為通常所說的中分位數（中數、二分位分、中位數：Median）第3個

17、Quartile（En：3rd Quartile）第4個Quartile實際為通常所說的最大值（MAXimum)我想大家除了對1st、3rd Quartile不了解外，對其他幾個統計量的求法都是比較熟悉的了，而求1st、3rd是比較麻煩的，下面以求1rd為例:設樣本數為n（即共有n個數），可以按下列步驟求1st Quartile：（1）將n個數從小到大排列，求(n-1)/4，設商為i，余數為j（2）則可求得1st Quartile為：(第i+1個數)*(4-j)/4+(第i+2個數)*j/4例（已經排過序啦！）：1.設序列為5，只有一個樣本則：(1-1)/4 商0，余數01st=第1個數*4/

18、4+第2個數*0/4=52.設序列為1,4，有兩個樣本則：(2-1)/4 商0，余數11st=第1個數*3/4+第2個數*1/4=1.753.設序列為1,5,7，有三個樣本則：(3-1)/4 商0，余數21st=第1個數*2/4+第2個數*2/4=34.設序列為1,3,6,10，四個樣本：(4-1)/4 商0，余數21st=第1個數*1/4+第2個數*3/4=2.55.其他類推！因為3rd與1rd的位置對稱，這是可以將序列從大到小排（即倒過來排），再用1rd的公式即可求得：例（各序列同上各列，只是逆排）：1.序列5，3rd=52.4,1，3rd=4*3/4+1*1/4=3.253.7,5,1，

19、3rd=7*2/4+5*2/4=64.10,6,3,1，3rd=10*1/4+6*3/4=7ETS明確規定Percentile是一定要求的一個統計量，不知道有沒有G友遇到過關于Percentile的數學題，因為Percentile的計算比較復雜，所以我在此對Percentile的求法詳述，以方便G友：Percentile: percent below用概念來說沒什么用，而且易讓人糊涂，所以在此我歸納出一個公式以供G友參考。設一個序列供有n個數，要求（k%）的Percentile：（1）從小到大排序，求(n-1)*k%，記整數部分為i，小數部分為j（2）所求結果（1j）*第(i1)個數j*第(i

20、+2)個數特別注意以下兩種最可能考的情況：（1）j為0，即(n-1)*k%恰為整數，則結果恰為第(i+1)個數（2）第(i+1)個數與第(i+2)個數相等，不用算也知道正是這兩個數。注意：我前面提到的Quartile也可用這種方法計算，其中1st Quartile的k%=25%2nd Quartile的k%=50%3rd Quartile的k%=75%計算結果一樣。例：（注意一定要先從小到大排序的，這里已經排過序啦！）1，3，4，5，6，7，8，9，19，29，39，49，59，69，79，80共16個樣本（1）30%：(16-1)*30%=4.5=4+0.5(1-0.5)*第5個數0.5*第
