2、 as Taihe Mountain, is located in Shiyan City, northwest ofHubei Provinee. In the late period of the Easten Han Dynasty, Taoism 道教 was born and WudangMountain was respected as the immortal 不朽的(i'm ?:t?l)mountain of Taoism.Besides the refined(微妙的)and elegant natural seeneries , the ancient archit

Wudang, inherited 纟繼承 down since theMing dynasty, is revered 令人尊敬的 for its typical royal style, as proved by the saying of“ con struct ing the Forbidde n City in the north and redecorat ing Wuda ng in the south” .In 1ancient archite

4、ctural complex of Mt. Wudang was listed in the Catalogue 目錄 'k? t?l? g of theWorld Cultural Heritage. The complex consists of palaces and temples forming the nueleus 核丿心'nju:kli ?s of secular and religious building exemplifying 舉例 the architectures in WudangMountain can date back into the Ta

Before my description of this scenic spot, you can draw a picture of the palace in your mind with imagination.The nucleus construction of Purple Cloud Palace, The Grand Hall is the only left double-eaved, lean-to-hill 重檐歇山頂,wooden building. Most of the precious antiques, dynamic 動態的 dai'n?mik, vivid, and wonderful to see, were the images of Gods by clay sculpture 泥塑 and goods for worshipping during the Yuan, Ming, Qing Dynasties.In the middle of the Shrine dedicated the image of Zhenwu. With a height of 4.8mete

17、rs, the image is the biggest clay sculpture. Another divine 神圣的 image made by paper and covered with golden leaves is the best preserved 保存pri'z ?:vd and most ancient paper image , which comprehensively displays 廣泛地，最大程度地展示了 the marrow 精華 on craftwork of paper pasting 裱糊'peisti?, sculpting,

18、gilding 鍍金,colored drawing, and has great value in researching ancient paper pasting.The fastigium 屋脊 of the Grand Hall consists of six flying colored glaze 彩釉 gleiz dragons. An Aquarius is surrounded by the dragons that are painted in three different colors. Due to the heav in ess and high ness, th

19、e Aquarius has to be draw n by four iron 'ar ?n cha ins t ?ein鐵鏈.Each end of the chain is attached to the hand of a divine kid, it is said that the four kids of deity 神明 'dirti has stuck to their positions in order to keep the Aquarius steady no matter it is chilly 寒冷 , scorching 灼熱, rainy,

20、windy or thundering. Because their spacial positions are even higher than the superior 上級的 sju:'piri ? God, the four kids are also called Super Gods.After the rebuilding in 1412 A.D., the Grand Hall had been repaired about ten times in different times. Therefore, it can maintain its basic featur

21、es . In 1994, the experts on world relics ' s from UN inspected Wudang Mountain and said, "Here, we witness the sample of traditional remedial 治療ri'mi:di ?l,mea ns to the ancient build in gs".Now we are leaving for the Golden Summit, which is regarded as the symbol of the Wudang mo

22、untain .We will go there by tram rail 索道. Now we have got to the station. Let g e't sof the bus and get on the tram rail. On the way to Golden Peak by tram rail, we are now traveling among the peaks, and then we are floating in the clouds, just like gods. We have reached the main peak .It is 161

Standing in front of the Golden Palace, you can have overall view of the beautiful scene of Wudang Mountain, 。Golden Summit （金頂 ）is located in Wudang Mountain-day peak of the main peak, 1612 meters high.
