伊朗的No-rooz節（努魯孜節），即伊朗新年。按照伊朗的太陽歷，每年的三月二十二號左右定為新年，預示著春的來臨，所以伊朗人也經常稱這一天為springfestival，這一天也正是我國農歷的春分左右。

No-rooz節是伊朗最為重大的節日，地位相當于我國的“春節”。伊朗到目前為止還延續著自己的歷法，不使用絕大部分國家使用的公歷，這一天才是新年的第一天，所以從實際意義上講又相當于元旦。
