2、tion includes 5 parts.That is : part 1:the analysis of the teaching material. Part 2: the analysis of students. Part 3: teaching methods and learning strategies. Part 4: teaching design and design ideas. Part 5: teaching procedures. Now,I will talk about part 1: the analysis of the teaching material

3、. First,the function of the teaching materialThe content of this class is the part of 3a in Section A in Unit 2. For this unit, the language goal is to talk about the festival around the world. The topic of this unit is close to our life, and students are familiar with them.Therefore, students are i

4、nterested in learning. The content of this class is one of festivals Mid-Autumn Festival. Hence,this class will present new language goal, and training students reading ability. Second, teaching objectives Knowledge and Skills a. Master the key words folk , goddess, steal, lay, lay out, dessert, gar

5、den, admire, traditionb. Learn something about Mid-Autumn Festival.c. Improve students reading and comprehension skills Process and Methods a. Learn by reading a passage about Mid-Autumn Festival.b. Autonomous and cooperative approach. Emotion AimsLead students to learn about Chinese culture and tre

And after studying, they will make great progress in reading, speaking and writing. Then, part 3: teaching methods and learning st

9、rategies For the teaching methods,this class will use The multimedia method and cooperative approach. The teacher will give students some time to read the passage individually and finish the task in pairs. Their reading ability will be improved by group work.For the learning strategies, teacher will

10、 provide more group works during the class. And let the students take actively part in these activities autonomously, because activities are the best way for students to grasp the target language. Part 4: teaching design and design ideas. After understanding the function and objective of this unit,

11、I divide this class into six steps: Step 1: Warm up Step 2: Teaching new words Step 3: Presentation Step 4: Group work Step 5: Estension of knowledge Step 6: Summary Step 7: HomeworkThis seven steps are designed by the reading methods and skills. And according to the methods that students are famili

12、ar, its aim is to learn the sentences, paragraphs and passage. In this way, students reading ability will be improved. Part 5: teaching procedures.This part includes 7 steps: Step 1 : Warming up. First, greeting to students. Second, show some pictures of festivals on the screening. Ask students to p
