基數詞和序數詞

英語上表示數目和順序的詞叫數詞，數詞又分為兩大類：基數詞和序數詞。

一、基數詞

所謂基數，在數學上的理解是可以比較大小的數字。英語中的基數詞是用于描述事物數

量的多少。所以，基數詞的定義為：描述事物數量的多少的數詞稱為基數詞。

1、第一類：

one―-two二three三four四five五six六seven七

eight八nine九ten十elevenH■twelve十二

這一類共計十二個單詞，在結構上與其他的基數詞相比較是特殊的，就像不規則的動詞一

樣,要求逐個的硬背下來,這對學好其他的基數詞和序數詞都是及其重要的.

2、第二類：

thirteen十三fourteen十四fifteen十五sixteen十六seventeen十七

eighteen十八nineteen十九

這一類基數詞共有七個.它們在結構上有兩個特點：一是在發音方面都有兩個重音；二是

在拼法上都有后綴一teen.除了thirteen和fifteen之外，都是純粹地在另一個基數詞的后面

加上后綴一teen.但要注意eighteen的拼法,eight本身有t字母,因此只加一een.

3、第三類：twenty二十thirty三十forty四十fifty五十sixty六十

seventy七十

eighty八十ninety九十

這類基數詞共有八個.都是十位的整數，均以后綴一ty結尾.其中sixty、seventy、eighty、

ninety基本上是在相應的基數詞后面加上后綴一ty.但要注意eighty的拼法,eight本身有t

字母，因此只加一y.

4、第四類：

這一類很簡單,可以看成是一種合成詞.其結構方式是：用十位整數加上個位整數,其間用

連字符號“一”連接，表示“幾十幾”.這類基數詞的變化都是規則的.如：

twenty-one二4-forty-six四十六

seventy-eight七十八ninety-five九十五

(4).百位數的基數詞形式在百后加“hundred”，表示幾百，在幾十幾與百位間加上

and.hundred后不力口s。

以千計、數以百萬計泛指許多

二、序數詞

序數詞是指表示順序的數詞。序數詞是數詞的一種，主要在英語語法中講到，在漢語中

表示為“第幾”。此外，在生日中，描述你出生的日期時，也用到了序數詞。比如：Mayfirst

(5月1日)還有第1,first：第2,second等等都是。

1、第一類

first(1st)第一second(2nd)第二third(3rd)第三

(在括號里的是縮寫形式，均在阿拉伯數字后面加上相應序數詞的最后兩個字母構成，以

下各類與此相同.)

這類序數詞只有三個,在整個序數詞里面是特殊的，就和第一類基數詞一樣，需要逐個地

硬記下來.

2、第二類:

fourth(4th)第四fifth(5th)第五sixth(6th)第六seventh

(7th)第七

eighth(8th)第八ninth(9th)第九tenth(10th)第十

eleventh(11th)第十一

twelfth(12th)第十二thirteenth(13th)第十三fourteenth(14th)

第十四

fifteenth(15th)第十五sixteenth(16th)第十六seventeenth

(17th)第十七

eighteenth(18th)第十八nineteenth(19th)第十九

這一類序數詞共有十六個.均在相應的基數詞后面加上后綴一th構成.要注意其中fifth.

eighth、ninth、

twelfth四個詞的拼法.

3、第三類：

twentieth(20th)第二十thirtieth(30th)第三十fortieth

(40th)第四十

fiftieth(50th)第五十sixtieth(60th)第六十seventieth

(70th)第七十

eightieth(80th)第八十ninetieth(90th)第九十

這一類全是十位整數的序數詞,共八個.它們的構成方法是：先將相應的十位整數的基數詞

詞尾一ty中的y改成

i,然后在加上后綴一eth.

4、第四類：

thirty-first(31th)第三Hksixty-second(62nd)第六十二

eighty-seventh(87th)第八十七ninety-eighth(98th)第九十八

ahundredandfifty-third第^百五十三

這類表示“兩位或兩位以上的序數詞,跟表示基數詞一樣簡單.在構成方法上均由相應基

數詞“變化而來,十位

數不變,僅把個位上的基數詞變成序數詞就行了.

口訣：基變序，有規律，詞尾加上th,一二三特殊記，結尾字母t,d,do

th要從四加起,八去t,九去e,

五與十二同尾ve,f來把ve替。若是碰到幾十幾，只變個位就可以，整數詞也

好記,y變ie+th。

序數詞表順序，前有定冠詞the莫忘記.

序數詞用法：

1.序數詞在使用時，一般加上定冠詞the，表示第幾，

thefirstfloor第一■層thethirdday第三天

序數詞加不定冠詞用來表示又一，再一的意思

2.序數詞的用途

a.用來表示時間(后面詳細講解時間表示法)

例如：2008年2月28日可以表示為February28th,2008

b.用來表示順序

例如：Heisalwaysthefirsttocometoschool.他總是第一個來學校。

c.用來表示樓層

例如：Helivesonthefourthfloor.他住在四樓。

d、表示事物的編號：如：theninthpart=PartNine第九部分

thefourthlesson=LessonFour第四課thesixthparagraph=ParagraphSix第六

e、表示年月日：“年”用基數詞，”日用序數詞”以下是表示月份的單詞，同學們要

牢記：
