Guess what it is.It has a long nose. It has two big ears and a short tail. Its gray.教師重復Peter的謎語,可適當配合一些手勢或動作。S: It is an elephant.Pet

Look at it carefully andtell us: Whats in it?/What are they?教師快速展示系列動物圖片:giraffe, elephant, monkey, mouse, rabbit, tiger。學生根據看到的圖片說說動物單詞。培養觀察力和記憶力。(3)繼續展示圖片:An elephant and a mouse. 對比大象和老鼠。T: What are they? They are an elephant and a mouse. Oh

But the mouse is very small. 教師強調big 和 small 。此時,教師可播放動畫課件, 將鼠標移到elephant 的圖案上,圖案elephant的下面出現單詞big 。將鼠標移到mouse的圖案上,圖案mouse的下面出現單詞small。用同樣的方法學習short 和long。教師請peter.sally教我們新單詞。放空中英語資料錄像。peter.sally帶讀單詞:big small教師請同學們注意單詞small 中 l 的發音,教師提示學生舌頭要上卷。同樣方法教授long short (4
22、)教師完整播放光盤內容, 學生跟讀學習單詞; 教師也可關閉聲音, 讓學生看動畫讀單詞。(5)播放Lets learn 部分的錄音,手指單詞跟讀。3 趣味操練(Step 3: Learning )(1)教師將Lets learn 部分的單詞卡舉起,帶讀,學生以“開火車”的形式練習。如果可能,可以讓學生拼讀單詞。圖:s-m-a-l-l small, etc.(2)Lets do 部分的內容。播放空中英語課堂錄像a.播放 Lets do 部分的錄像,學生邊聽邊說邊做此部分的活動。b.錄像使用Lets do 部分的動作圖卡,讓學生看圖說圖卡上畫的是什么動物做的動作。c. 學生再次聽錄音,鼓勵學生說出指
23、令內容,同時請幾個學生上臺前表演動作。(3)游戲:耳語。把學生分為56組,教師向每組的第一名學生耳語一個指令,如:Tall,tall,tall! Make yourself tall.這名學生依次向組里的第二名學生耳語這個指令。以此類推,直至最后一個學生。最后這名學生快步跑道講臺根據指令做動作,誰又快又正確就為他們組贏一分。然后,每組的第一名學生站到隊尾。4、 課堂評價 (Step 4: Summary)教師總結本課的學習內容,歸納本節課教學重點內容。簡單評價本課教學活動以及學生參與的情況。安排一個擴展性活動(Add-activities))讓學生說說有關動物類的單詞,如:panda, kan
24、garoo, duck, cat, dog, giraffe, elephant,monkey, mouse, rabbit, tiger 。隨后,讓學生分小組將自己準備好的動物玩具拿出,形容動物。如:The giraffe is very tall. The elephant has a long nose.還可以告訴學生,顏色詞也是在形容事物,鼓勵學生將一種事物的樣子和顏色都說說,如:The panda has two black eyes.【板書設計】Unit Six At the Zoosmall big long short (圖片和詞卡)5、課后自問本節課的教學任務和教學目的是否完
