2、、Power6-520內存更換規則及注意事項2三、Power5-55A內存更換規則及注意事項2四、Power5-52A內存更換規則及注意事項2一、 Power7-720/740內存更換規則及注意事項1、 準備工作: 準備好服務器信息(客戶準備)、故障內存位置、內存備件、筆記本、網線、十字螺絲刀一把、一字螺絲刀一把。2、 與客戶到生產庫房取內存備件,然后根據客戶提供的信息,與客戶一起,確認服務器位置、狀態及是否關機,如未關機,向客戶說明,協調進行關機。3、 服務器關機后,首先進行服務器下電工作。4、 下電之前,工程師務必再次確認服務器所在位置,可讓兩名工程師站在服務器所在機柜的前后,通過兩名工程
3、師上下計數方法確定服務器所在位置,確認無誤后將服務器下電。5、 服務器下電之后,將服務器后面的KVM IQ適配器、網線、光纖線、等連接線纜分別取下,注意光纖線和網線的左右順序,千萬不可混插,如果線纜太多可在取下前做好標記。6、 服務器線纜整理完畢,需要將服務器從機柜中抽出,抽出前需要注意:7、 首先,用工具將服務器前面板上的螺絲卸下,以便服務器能正常從機柜中抽出。8、 兩名工程師需站在服務器所在機柜的前后,后面的工程師負責檢查服務器在抽出的過程中,是否會拖拽其他服務器線纜,此環節必須要仔細,前后工程師密切配合,避免造成其他事故。9、 前面的工程師負責將服務器拉出到合適的位置。注意:如果服務器在
4、機柜的中央以下位置,可不用將服務器下架,若服務器在機柜的頂部或中央以上,不方便更換備件,則必須將服務器下架后再更換故障內存。10、 將服務器后面的兩個螺絲松開,打開頂蓋,可以看到P720/740內部結構如圖1-1所示。P1-C15、P1-C16、P1-C17、P1-C18是4個內存盒,每個內存盒可以插8塊內存。根據CPU個數的不同內存盒個數也有限制,720只支持最多兩個內存盒,740一個CPU模塊的支持兩個內存盒,兩個CPU模塊的可支持4個內存盒。表1-1列出了P720/740 各型號機器對應內存盒的位置。P7-720圖1-1 Power720/740 內部結構圖表1-1 P720/740 各

Install the fourth memory riser at location P1-C15.11、 拔出需要更換的內存盒,方法如圖1-2所示,按下A處向上拉起內存盒即可。圖1-2 拔出內存盒12、 拔出后的內存盒后就可以開始更換內存了。根據我們事先對機器故障的判斷,確定了故障內存的位置,圖1-3顯示內存的具體物理位置。然后根據機器配置情況,對照表1-2 Power7 8202-E4B or 8205-E6B型號的機器內存安插順序,和表1-3 Power7 8202-E4C or 8205-E6C型號的機器內存
9、安插順序,查找配對規則,然后進行更換。圖1-3內存物理位置注意:由于小型機的內存都是成對或者4個一組起作用的,故更換時也需要成對更換,而我們記錄的故障位置可能只有一個,這是就需要判斷與該故障內存成對的內存槽位。對于Power7 8202-E4B or 8205-E6B型號的機器內存安插順序及槽位如表1-2所示。表1-2 Power7 8202-E4B or 8205-E6B型號的機器內存安插順序及槽位處理器和內存數內存安插位置One processor module andone memory card, or twoprocessor modules and onememory card (

57、1-5 內存拔插圖14、 換好所有的內存卡,將內存盒插回機箱內,蓋上頂蓋,將服務器緩慢推回機柜中。注意:在服務器往回推之前,機柜后面仍需一名工程師查看在往回推得過程中是否會拖拽到其他線纜,前后工程師需密切配合,避免避免造成其他事故。15、 將服務器電源與KVM IQ適配器等線纜連接上,等服務器完成加電硬件自檢后,按開機按鈕開機。注意:網線與光纖線先不連接,等確認服務器能正常起機后再插上,避免服務器因電源或其他硬件故障引起的二次報警。16、 將筆記本與服務器的HMC管理口用網線相連,登陸到ASMI界面。查看事件日志中是否存在當前時間點的內存報警,或其他硬件報警,若沒有,則證明服務器已更換的內存與其他硬件工作正常。此時可把故障燈關閉。提示: HMC有兩個接口,其中接口地址為,(IBM P5 服務器)HMC1:192.168.2.147,HMC2:192.168.3.147(IBM P6/7服務器)HMC1:169.254.2.147,HMC2:169.254.3.147ASMI界面,用戶名:admin 密碼:admin17、 告知
