The purpose of this study is to empirically assess the quality of the PMISpresentlyusedinorganizationsandtoexaminetheirimpactonproj

3、ectmanagersandprojectperformance, based on a PMIS success model. This model is composed of five constructs: the quality ofthe PMIS, the quality of the PMIS information output, the use of the PMIS, the individual impacts of thePMIS and the impacts of the PMIS on project success. Analysis of questionn

4、aire data obtained from 39projectmanagersconfirmsthesignificantcontributionof PMISto successfulprojectmanagement.Improvements in effectiveness and efficiency in managerial tasks were observed here in terms of betterprojectplanning,scheduling,monitoring,and control.Improvementswere also observedin te

5、rmsoftimelier decision-making. Advantages obtained from PMIS use are not limited to individual performancebut also includeprojectperformance.Thesesystemswere foundto have directimpactson projectsuccess, as they contribute to improving budget control and meeting project deadlines as well as fulfillin

This study considers the strategic

10、and operational factors simultaneously to securethe efficacy of supplier selection (VS) on initial stage of new product development (NPD). We suggeststrategicfactorscomefrom the suppliersmanagementsystemitself (i.e., customer-,long-term-,andprocess-oriented criteria) while the related performances i

11、ndices of supplier constitute operational factors(i.e., producer-, short-term- and outcome-oriented criteria). The workadopts supplier s processcapabilityindices (PCIs)andprocessyieldsas operationalfactors toestimate theirqualitycapabilities.Thebusiness process-oriented criteria related with the per

12、formance of business process improvement (BPI)are employed as the strategic criteria for supplier assessment visit. A fuzzy approach with supply riskconsiderationis employedthen toaggregate thetotalscoresofindividualsuppliersobjectively.Anempirical case study is performed to demonstrate the efficacy
