1、基本信息課題新課標人教版高一必修一第三單元閱讀課Unit 3 Travel journal Journey down the Mekong教材分析本單元的中心話題是“旅游”,通過旅游日記(travel journal)的方法描述旅游見聞。 “閱讀”(Reading)部分“湄公河旅行游記”(JOURNEY DOWN THE MEKONG)的第一部分講述了王坤和王薇夢想沿湄公河做自行車旅行,并為之做準備的過程?!袄斫狻保–omprehending)部分通過回答問題、填寫表格等教學活動,加強學生對課文細節的進一步理解。通過閱讀,教師不僅要讓學生學到一些有關地理的單詞和表達,訓練他們的閱讀技能,還要讓

2、學生懂得如何做好旅行前的準備工作,例如選擇自己感興趣的旅行地點,確定旅行路線,通過查地圖等了解沿途的相關信息,激發學生旅游的興趣。這課時主要側重于閱讀能力的培養,教給學生多種靈活多變的閱讀方法。引導學生開展任務型閱讀,以任務為依托,激發學生參與主體,從篇章中準確、高效地獲取知識與信息。學習這篇文章后,除了讓學生學到與旅游有關的語言知識和語言技能,還要讓學生對旅游產生深厚原興趣,增強對大自然的熱愛之情。學情分析1. 高一新生想象力豐富,對新鮮事物充滿了好奇,對玩特別感興趣。且在初中地理課上學習已了解了一些關于湄公河和瀾滄江的情況。2. 但農村孩子學生基礎差,對語言學習缺乏興趣。而他們又因為怕說錯

3、而不善交流,課堂氣氛可能不夠活躍。3. 此外學生詞匯量匱乏,對一篇有475個單詞的長文章的理解是有困難的。所以訓練學生的預測,猜詞和查讀這些閱讀技能就顯得非常重要。 教學目標1語言知識目標(1)掌握閱讀課文中出現的新詞匯和課文中的黑體字;體會現在進行時表達將來動作的用法。(2)了解旅游所需的準備工作,其中包括精神與物質準備;選擇旅游時間、景點、路線、交通工具(火車、汽車、輪船、飛機、自行車等);掌握旅游常識,學會解決旅游中出現的一些問題;說出一些關于地形地貌的名詞。2語言技能目標提升表達能力,學會用英語復述課文,和簡單地描述自己的旅游計劃。3.語言運用目標(1)通過略讀找到每段的主題句;通過查

4、讀,理解細節,懂得如何做好旅游前的準備工作;通過細讀,了解河流的特征,增長地理方面的知識,培養閱讀技能。(2)能利用構詞法和上下文猜測生詞意義。4情感態度目標通過旅游熏陶情操,增長見識;錘煉意志,開拓智慧;通過對山川的愛激發對生活的愛。5.文化意識激發學生了解這條河流流域文化的興趣,增強學生對祖國大好河山的熱愛和國際意識,進而培養學生的跨文化交際意識和能力。6.學習策略(1)借助聯想建立相關知識之間的聯系;(2)在學習中借助圖式等非語言信息進行理解或表達。(3) 學習有效地使用地圖,網絡等資源獲取更多的與旅游相關的語言信息,從而擴大語言輸入量,形成語言運用能力。教學重點和難點教學重點:(1)理

5、解課文,理解本課中所出現的新詞的用法。(2)通過語篇學習,掌握旅游日記的內容,培養閱讀技能。(3) 讓學生學會用英語交流旅游計劃,談論旅游話題。教學難點:(1) 識記關于地形地貌的名詞。(2) 在充分閱讀的基礎上,對課文進行復述和表達自己的觀點。(3)讓學生學會利用略讀、查讀等閱讀技巧來確定關鍵詞、主題句、形成閱讀策略。(4)如何幫助學生運用閱讀策略,促進學生自主學習。教學過程教學環節教師活動預設學生行為設計意圖1. Lead in1. Show students some pictures of a river.2. Discuss two questions:  1)W
