1、外國語學院中級閱讀 1教學大綱一、課程的性質與目標中級閱讀 1是英語專業本科二年級學生第一學期開設的一門專業必修課。 是為培養學生的英語閱讀能力, 為本專業其他課程和高年級專業課的學習奠定語 言基礎的一門課程。二、課程教學目標和任務:閱讀(泛讀)是英語專業學生的基礎學科,它使學生在閱讀中,既能比較系統的掌握基本的快速閱讀技能, 又能通過閱讀題材及風格各異的篇章, 開闊視野、 擴大知識面,豐富語言知識、增強語感,積累一定的詞匯量,增加一定的英美文 化背景知識, 加深對英語語言特點的理解, 提高其閱讀的速度、 理解能力及綜合 運用語言的能力,以培養具有綜合素質的英語專業人才。三、課程教學的基本要求

2、英語閱讀課列入學校的教學計劃, 成績記入學生的檔案, 按照高等學校英語 專業基礎階段英語教學大綱及本學院對大學生的教學, 考核的有關規定, 嚴格考 核制度。英語閱讀課教學時數為 36學時。在完成規定學時的基礎上, 對學生的學習方 法進行指導,有組織的開展第二課堂活動(如英語辯論賽)。造成生動活潑的語 言環境,豐富學生的業余文化生活,提高他們的學習興趣和運用語言的能力。在英語閱讀課的教學中, 要根據學生的具體情況采取相應的教學方法。 教英 語閱讀課課的教師應有高度的事業心和責任感,充分發揮自己的主動性和創造 性,針對不同教學對象,充分調動學生的學習積極性和主動性,培養學生的獨立 工作能力。四、課
