語言時空構詞法主要指詞形(詞性)的變化及其規則,包括轉化法、派生法、合成法等。備考中要重點關注詞性轉換、詞形變化及一些常見前后綴的含義。

構詞法一、轉化法

把一種詞性用作另一種詞性而詞形不變的方法稱作轉化法,有的名詞可以作動詞,有的形容詞可以作動詞等。1.動詞→名詞:aim瞄準→aim目標;answer回答→answer答案Ibelievetakingawalkaftersupperisgoodforhealth,sowouldyouliketowalkwithme?我相信飯后散步有利于健康,那么你愿意和我一起散步嗎?2.名詞→動詞:water水→water澆水;book書→book預訂Marywasreadinganinterestingbook,whileBettywasbookingatickettoBeijingontheInternet.瑪麗正在讀一本有趣的書,然而貝蒂正在網上預訂去北京的票。3.形容詞→名詞:good好的→good益處;native本地的;本族的→native本地人HernativelanguageisChineseandshedecidestolearnEnglishfromthenativesofAustralia.她的本土語言是漢語,她決定從澳大利亞本地人那學習英語。4.形容詞→動詞:dry干燥的→dry使變干;calm鎮靜的→calm使鎮靜;Youshouldkeepcalmincaseofemergency,andthenyouwillcalmyourselfdownandsettletheproblemexcellently.面對緊急情況你應該保持鎮靜,讓自己鎮靜下來然后出色地解決問題。二、派生法

在詞根前加前綴或詞根后加后綴,構成一個與原單詞意義相近或相反的新詞的方法稱作派生法。一般前綴改變詞義,不改變詞性;后綴改變詞性,不改變詞義。1.前綴:(1)表否定的前綴:dis-,il-,im-,in-,ir-,mis-,non-,un-等。necessary必要的→unnecessary沒必要的;possible可能的→impossible不可能的;understand理解→misunderstand誤解(2)表其他意義的前綴:a-(常構成表語形容詞),anti-(反對;抵抗),auto-(自動),co-(共同),en-(使),ex-(以前的),inter-(互相),mini-(小的),over-(過度),re-(再;又),sub-(下面的;次),tele-(距離)等。war戰爭→anti-war反戰的;able有能力的→enable使有能力;bus公共汽車→minibus面包車2.后綴:(1)構成名詞的后綴:-(e)r/-or(從事某事的人),-ese(某地人),-ess(雌性),-ian(精通……的人),-ist(專業人員),-ment(性質;狀態),-ness(性質;狀態),-tion(動作;過程)等。act行為→actor演員;argue爭論→argument辯論;music音樂→musician音樂家(2)構成動詞的后綴:-(e)n(多用于形容詞后),-fy(使……化),-ize(使……成為)。strength力量→strengthen加強;simple簡單的→simplify使簡化(3)構成形容詞的后綴:-al,-able(有能力的),-(a)n(某國人的),-ern(方向的),-ese(某國人的),-ful,-(ic)al,-ish,-ive,-less(否定),-like(像……的),-ous,-some,-y(表示天氣)等。west西方→western西方的;attract吸引→attractive吸引人的三、合成法
