下午好！今天，作為你們孩子的英語老師，我很榮幸地在這里和你們共同探討一下“怎樣幫助孩子學好英語”，由于水平有限，在各位家長面前班門弄斧，不當之處，敬請批評指正。

首先說一下學英語的重要性。

英語和語文數學一起被稱為三大主科，如果你現在不學好英語，那將來的初中英語學習也是不難想象的。所以我們只有現在打好良好的基礎，才不會導致英語越學越難，越學越差。

由于上學期帶過這個班兩個多月的語文，這一班學生的學習情況我還是基本了解的，其實在座的家長對自己子女的情況比我更加清楚。學生們的英語都是開學時同一起跑線上起跑的，經過兩個多月的學習，學生與學生之間已經拉開了差距。一些好的學生學習興趣濃，學習勁頭足，課堂上積極思維，踴躍發言，課后及時鞏固，形成了良性循環的好勢頭。他們的學習習慣好，在聽、說、讀、寫方面都能齊頭并進，我為他們感到欣慰?？梢灿幸恍W生，平時學習馬虎，作業質量差，還不努力，書面作業拖拉不交，口頭作業根本不完成，如此一來，學習自然成了件頭痛事，麻煩事。其實，大部分的學生還是處于中間層次，老師所教的，所布置的作業能夠基本完成，但學習的效率又因人而異，存在著個體差別。

怎樣幫助孩子學好英語呢？我們老師自然是最直接的知識傳授者，有著不可推卸的責任。在此，我們只是真誠地呼吁我們的家長配合學校，配合老師，靠我們共同的努力來幫助孩子學好英語。用一句時髦的話說：我們要和孩子共同成長。

重視良好的學習習慣的培養

（1）讓孩子多聽錄音在少兒英語教學中，首先是加強聽力訓練和說話訓練，然后才是讀寫能力的培養。聽說能力差，用英語進行交際的能力差，為此，家長一定要配合學校來要求孩子，要創造條件讓孩子多聽，多聽純正的錄音，聽幾遍、聽清楚了以后，跟著說。按照眼前利益來看，我們的升學考試也一年比一年注重聽力、閱讀等需要綜合能力的部分。

（2）讓孩子大聲說英語。家長要每天留出15分鐘左右時間讓孩子讀讀英語，不管當天有無英語課。我們要鼓勵孩子大聲地朗讀、對話、問答，大聲說，不害羞，這樣有利于清楚地表達自己，也有利于他人糾正自己的錯誤。

（3）督促學生識記單詞。分散記憶、根據讀音記憶單詞都是可取的方法。有時，我們回家布置抄寫單詞，其目的不在于抄，而在于提醒學生記憶這些單詞。但是在日常學習中，學生不重視這項作業，認為只是抄抄而已，不做也沒什么關系，其實他連抄寫都不做，根本別說是去背了，結果幾次下來，他負債累累，應付不過來，學習處于被動狀態，從而影響了以后的學習，出現退步現象。因此，請大家在家里督促孩子保質保量地完成英語作業，該讀的讀、該說的說、該寫的寫、該記的記，及時鞏固，養成良好的習慣。父母親的良好榜樣起著很大作用。孩子一般還沒有明確的學習目的，這時，父母親對學習的態度，特別是行為，會極大地影響孩子。在默寫單詞的時候，有時會需要父母幫忙，我知道許多家長不懂英語，但你可以讀中文。我平時給孩子們聽寫也是讀中文。家長們千萬不能縱容自己的孩子第一次說：英語好難，我默寫不出來，就任由他去。你讓你的孩子知道：今天，你花大時間去養成好習慣，明天，你就可以更好。今天，你偷懶了一會，你明天的作業就會更多。累積下來，你就是欠債最多的人。孩子是每個家庭的重心和希望，有一位家長說過：“要把培養孩子當作自己的事業來做。”是啊，只要你多投入一點，相信你的孩子會給予你更多的回報！
