充分利用英文歌曲,提高聽說讀寫能力 何健萍南海藝術高級中學摘要: 本文通過一堂英文歌曲的教學課,展示了如何通過學習英文歌曲提高聽說讀寫能力,以及激發學習興趣,培養正確的人生觀和價值觀。關鍵詞:英文歌曲 提高能力 聽說讀寫English songs to improve the four skills He Jianping(Nanhai high school of arts)Abstract: This thesis uses a lesson of teaching an English song to demonstrate how to exploit English songs to improve the four skills in learning English and to spark the interest of learning and form correct ideas of life and value.Key words: English songs improve ability listening speaking reading and writing歌曲在語言學習中起著非常重要的作用。通過歌曲的學習能夠強化語音知識、提高聽說能力、同時還能激發興趣,給課堂注入活力和生機。優秀的歌曲還能給人以美的熏陶,陶冶情操,樹立正確的人生觀和價值觀。如何在聽說讀寫方面充分利用英文歌曲呢?在多年的英文教學中,筆者總結了幾種英文歌曲教學的方法和及一些好的英文歌曲,深受學生喜歡。下面就以課堂教過的歌曲carry on till tomorrow作為范例談談。一、 利用英文歌曲進行聽力練習。在聽力可以先引入:when you were a little kid, how did you feel when you saw the sun? when you see the sun now, how do you feel? And imagine when you were old, how would you feel when you saw the sun? Do you have dreams? What are you going to do to make them come true? 引入歌曲之后有兩個步驟: 先把整首歌作為聽寫材料讓學生聽寫,每句稍微停頓,共播放三次。然后給出歌詞,其中有些單詞是空缺的,讓學生邊聽邊填寫空缺的歌詞。空缺的歌詞可以是重要的單詞或新單詞。如以下畫線的單詞即為空缺的單詞。In younger days, I told myself my life would be my own And Id leave the place where sunshine never shone For my lifes too short for waiting when I see the rising sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on till tomorrow, theres no reason to look back Carry on, carry on, carry on Drifting on the wings of freedom, leave this stormy day And well ride to tomorrows golden fields For my lifes too short for waiting when I see the rising sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on till tomorrow, theres no reason to look back Carry on, carry on, carry on And when the heavy journeys done, Ill rest my weary head For the world and its colors will be mine For my lifes too short for waiting when I see the setting sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on till tomorrow, theres no reason to look back Carry on, carry on, carry on 二、 學唱英文歌曲,提高口語能力進行了聽力練習之后,便可以進行口語方面的練習。這里也有兩個步驟:1 學唱英文歌曲。可讓學生跟著錄音帶一起唱或分段學唱。這對于糾正語音又很大的幫助。教師還可在這過程指出唱英文歌的技巧,如單詞復數fields 等的處理。2 討論歌曲的內容。學生學會唱之后,對歌詞會有了大概的了解,這時便可以讓他們對歌曲的內容進行疏通。可把學生分成四人一組,讓學生用自己的話把歌詞說一遍。如歌詞的第一段:學生:When I was young, I knew my life was my own life. I was the master of my life. I could live the kind of life I wanted. So l left the place where there was no sunshine, very dark that I could not see any hope. I wanted to seek a new life. For I knew life was very short. I could not wait any more. I needed to work hard. Whenever I saw the rising sun, I saw hope. And then I know I need to carry on and never give up.在討論過程中,學生也許會有不同的觀點,也許會爭論,這對于提高學生的表達能力有很大的幫助。三、 閱讀理解。這個環節是對歌曲的內容進行深入的學習。教師可根據歌曲提出問題讓學生思考并回答。如:1 What is this song mainly about?2 The song has three parts, what does each part tell?3 How did he/she feel when seeing the sun rise?4 How did he/she feel when seeing the sun set?5 What three stages of life the three parts represent?或設計成閱讀理解練習的題型,如:1. What is this song mainly about?A. A boy B. Love C. Life D. Perseverance (參考答案:D)2. What does the first part of the song tell?A. Someone who has never seen sunshine.B. Someone who is very young.C. Someones awareness of his/her own life and wanted to seek new life.D. Life is very short, and we cant wait for someone.(參考答案:C)3. How did he/she feel when seeing the sun rise? A. encouraged B sad C crazy D happy (參考答案:A)4 How did he/she feel when seeing the sun set?A. sad B successful C annoyed D overjoyed ( 參考答案: B) 5 What are the three stages of life the song implies?A childhood, teenage and adultB baby time, adolescent and middle ageC teenage, middle age and old age.D teenage, adolescent, adult.( 參考答案:C ) 四、 總結與寫作練習。經過以上環節的練習,學生對歌曲都有了較深理解,也會有很多的想法和感受,那么,不妨趁熱打鐵,用文字把它寫下來,同時對寫作也是很好的訓練。教師總結:Life is yours. You are living your own life. Nobody can take control of your life except yourself. What are you going to do with your life? Work hard!
