LuXun(September25,1881-October19,1936),formerlyknownasZhouZhushou,laterrenamedZhouShuren,thewordYuShan,afterthechangeonly,"LuXun"ishis1918published"MadmanDiary"Butalsohismostinfluentialpenname,ZhejiangShaoxingpeople.Famouswriter,thinker,animportantparticipantoftheMay4thNewCultureMovement,thefounderofmodernChineseliterature.MaoZedonghascommented:"LuXun'sdirectionisthedirectionofthenewcultureoftheChinesenation."

LuXun'slifehasmadegreatcontributionsinmanyfieldssuchasliterarycreation,literarycriticism,thoughtresearch,literaryhistoryresearch,translation,introductionofarttheory,introductionofbasicscienceandancientcollationandresearch.HehasagreatinfluenceonthedevelopmentofChinesesocialideologyandcultureaftertheMayFourthMovement,andhasagreatinfluenceontheworldliteraryworld,especiallyinKoreaandJapan.Itisknownas"thelargestterritoryintheEastAsianculturalmapofthetwentiethcenturyOfthewriter".
