大學英語四級試題、流程說明以2023年12月大學英語四級考試真題為例CollegeEnglishTest—BandFour(CET-4)《大學英語教學大綱》大綱指出:大學英語教學的目的是培養學生具有較強的閱讀能力、一定的聽的能力(理工科合用的大綱還規定一定的譯的能力)以及初步的寫和說的能力,使學生能以英語為工具,獲取專業所需要的信息,并為進一步提高英語水平打下較好的基礎。為此,本考試重要考核學生運用語言的能力,同時也考核學生對語法結構和詞語用法的掌握限度。本考試是一種標準化考試。由于目前尚不具有口試的條件,暫時只進行筆試。考試范圍重要是教學大綱所規定的一級至四級的內容。為保證試卷的信度,除短文寫作是主觀性試題外,其余試題都采用客觀性的選擇題形式。短文寫作部分旨在較好地考核學生運用語言的能力,從而提高試卷的效度。本考試于每學期結束前后舉行,由大學英語四、六級標準考試設計組負責和實行。每年舉行兩次。本考試涉及五個部分:短文寫作、快速閱讀、聽力理解、閱讀理解、完形填空及翻譯。所有題目按順序統一編號。第一部分:寫作PartIWriting(30minutes):Directions:Forthispart,youareallowed30minutestowriteashortessayentitledHowShouldParentsHelpChildrentoBeIndependent?Youshouldwriteatleast150wordsfollowingtheoutlinegivenbelow.

C節共11題,讀三遍,36-43填詞44-46填句子A節、B節念一遍,每個問句后有約15秒的間隙,規定考生從試卷所給出的每題四個選擇項中選出一個最佳答案。C節念三遍,填詞或句子。錄音的語速為每分鐘約120詞。選材的原則是:1、話部分為平常生活中的一般對話,句子結構和內容不太復雜;2、短篇聽力材料為題材熟悉、情節不太復雜的故事、發言、敘述等;3、所用詞語不超過教學大綱詞匯表四級規定的范圍。聽力理解部分的目的是測試學生獲取口頭信息的能力。
第四部分:閱讀理解PartⅣReadingComprehension(ReadinginDepth)(25minutes):47-66共20題,考試時間25分鐘。這部分涉及兩節SectionA選詞搭配填空(15個答案10個空)47-56

B節有兩段文字,分別設一個問題的單選題。這部分規定考生閱讀若干篇短文,總閱讀量不超過1000詞。1、題材廣泛,可以涉及人物傳記、社會、文化、平常知識、科普常識等,但是所涉及的背景知識應能為學生所理解;2、體裁多樣,可以涉及敘述文、說明文、議論文等;3、文章的語言難度中檔,無法猜測而又影響理解的關鍵詞,如超過教學大綱詞匯表四級的范圍,用漢語注明詞義。閱讀理解部分重要測試下述能力:1、掌握所讀材料的主旨和大意;2、了解說明主旨和大意的事實和細節;3、既理解字面的意思,也能根據所讀材料進行一定的判斷和推論;4、既理解個別句子的意義,也理解上下文的邏輯關系。閱讀理解部分的目的是測試學生通過閱讀獲取信息的能力,既規定準確,也規定有一定速度。第五部分:完形填空PartⅤCloze(15minutes)67-86
