After reading some pieces of attractive news, students may be interested in the topic of this text. Ask students to discuss what qualities a good journalist should possess. Then guide

2、 students to read the passage.Warming Up is intended to get students to know about the different kinds of jobs in publishing newspapers and what they involve,Pre-reading is intended to show some good qualities a good journalist needs to have, such as higher level of education, enthusiasm and hard-wo

Divide students into groups to discuss these qualities, and then ask students to predict what makes Zhou Yang first work unforgettableThe reading is about a dialogue between a new journalist Zhou Yang and his new boss, Hu Xin. While reading, students try to finish the reading tasks in the lim

4、ited time. After reading, students can know about the necessary skills to become a good journalist and how to cover a story.教學目標1. 6、uctures.教學過程Step 1: Lead-in(設計意圖:通過幾張新聞圖片激活學生的思維,引起學生的學習興趣,從 而導入新課。)T: Class, there appears some good news and bad news every day. How can we get the information in time?51: From TV or radio.52: From the Internet.S3:T: Yes, some of us get news from TV, radio, magazines and the Internet, and others get news from newspapers.The newspaperis the oldest and

8、 popular media. There are many people involved in the work, including journalists. If you want to be a good journalist, you must have some good qualities.
