1、-、英語單詞教學過程中存在的問題國家對于職業中專學生的英語教學有明確的規定,即學生需要對英語單詞的基本含義和 在特定情境下的意思能止確的把握和理解,并口能夠運用所學的單詞對各種概念進行說明, 對各種事物進行描述。但是眾所周知,和我們的母語漢語不同,英語只是我們的第二語言, 在學習英語的時候而臨較人的難度,特別是英語學習中基礎部分的單詞學習,特別無聊和乏 味,記憶起來存在較大的難度,就算記住了單訶也不能自主靈活地進行運用,以上是我們國 家的學生在學習英語單詞時普遍存在和面臨的問題,不僅僅是小學生、初中生,就連高中生 和人學主也面臨同樣的問題。在一些欠發達地區,由于師資力量的低卜和設備的缺失,不能
2、 為學生學習英語單詞提供良好的學習環境和有利的學習條件。而有些英語老師由于教學經驗 不足,在進行英語單詞教學的時候不能采用恰當、合理、冇效的教學策略,一味地采取硬性 灌輸的英語單詞教學方式,使得職業中專學生在學習英語單詞的吋候顯得力不從心,不僅記 不住單詞,更嚴重的是不能在英語單詞的學習中開拓學習思路,難以進行思維的發散,老師 完全占據主導地位,不利于激發學牛的學習積極性和學習熱情。所以,改善目前這種錯i吳的 灌輸性教學方式是當下英語單詞教學中需要高度重視的問題。二、改進職業中專英語單詞教學的策略1. 注重音標的學習音標是學習英語單詞的必要基礎,如果不熟悉音標,就難以做出正確的單詞發音,而音
3、標的教學和學習都是有一定的技巧可以遵循的,其宗旨在于音、形、義三者的有機結合。學 生如果對音標有了一定的了解,就能夠自主地進行單詞拼寫,同時更重要的是能夠更好地記 憶單詞。在剛開始學習英語單詞的時候,很大一部分學生選擇將英語同漢語聯系起來,例如: banana (不拿拿)。這種做法從表血上看有利于學生對于英語單詞的記憶,但是從實質上說, 這是一種不良的學習方法,很容易導致學生陷入思維的怪圈,即思維定式,因此,教師一旦 發現某些學生采用這種英語單詞學習方法,就應該在笫一時間予以糾止。為了強化英語單訶 的學習效果,應該將英語單詞與實際生活相聯系,增強學習的生動性和形彖性,提高學生的 思考能力,同時
4、培養學牛的想象力。舉個最簡單的例子,老師在進行各種交通工具英語單詞 的教學時,如bus, taxi, car,可以提前準備幾個玩具,這不僅使得學生對英語單詞的學習 更加感興趣,也能增強記憶效果,一旦記住就很難忘記。而如果對單詞死記喚背,就算當時 記住,在經過較長的吋間z后也會忘得一干二凈。2. 將情景教學寓于英語學習屮音樂作為一門藝術課程受到了大部分學生的普遍歡迎與青睞,因為音樂可以使學生的精 神枇界得到豐富,同時使情操得到陶冶,進而使他們在其他課程的學習中更有效率,與此同 時,嶺聽英文歌詞不失為一種良好的英語單詞學習方法,在長時間的堅持下,學生會不知不 覺地記住很多的英文單詞,而且是在主動學
5、習的過程中記住的,效果較好。3. 讓學生在游戲中學單詞如果能夠在游戲的形式中讓學牛學習英語單詞,將無疑增強學牛的學習興趣,改變以往 那種學牛被動學習英語單詞的做法。筆者在進行單詞教學的時候熱衷于讓學牛在游戲屮學習 單詞。實踐證明,這種教學方式取得了很好的效果,學生不僅在游戲中感受到輕松和愉悅, 更加豐富了白己的知識。4. 鼓勵學生在課外主動學習單詞如果僅僅在課堂上進行英語單詞的授課和學習,其教學和學習效果是極為有限的,因為 課堂時間充其量只有幾十分釗,我們在強調學生在課堂上學好專業知識的同吋,還應鼓勵所 有的學生進行課外的學習和實踐,例如,學生可以關注英語新聞和電視劇,雖然不容易理解, 但是長
6、此以往有利于提高聽力水平,認識更多的單詞,此外,可以看美國電影、聽英文歌illi, 一邊娛樂一邊學習,可謂一舉兩得。教師少學生的學習關系最為密切,甚至可以說是學生學習的決定性因素,教師可以潛移 默化地影響學生的英語學習,所以,我們不能忽略教師的作川和影響力,而教師也應該意識 到白己肩負的重要職責,不僅要自覺主動地進行專業知識的學習,還要在教學方法和技巧上 下足功夫,根據不同的情境設置靈活的英語教學方式,提高學牛的英語學習水平。one, the problems existing in the teaching process of english wordscoun tries for pro
