Apartialviewisobtainedbyprojectingapartofamachinecomponentontoabasicprojectionplane.Infact,apartialviewisapartofabasicviewandiscommonlyusedtoexpressaspecificpartoftheshapeofthecomponent.II.DrawingRulesforPartialViewsa.Drawawavylineatthebrokenboundaryofthepartialview.b.

Whenacomponenthasaninclinedstructurethatcannotbeaccuratelyrepresentedusingabasicview,anauxiliaryprojectionplaneparalleltotheinclinedstructurecanbeestablished.Byprojectingtheinclinedstructureontothisauxiliaryplane,anobliqueviewcanbeobtained.ObliqueViewFormationoftheThreePrincipalViewsandtheObliqueViewofaComponentFormationoftheObliqueViewoftheInclinedPartofaComponent（1）Addanauxiliaryprojectionplaneparalleltotheinclinedsurface.（2）Projecttheinclinedpartontotheauxiliaryprojectionplane.Anobliqueviewisaviewobtainedbyprojectingacomponentontoaplanethatisnotparalleltoanyoftheprincipalprojectionplanes.ArrangementofComponentViewsTheobliqueviewshouldbearrangedasmuchaspossibleinapositionthatmaintainstheprojectionrelationshipwiththecorrespondingoriginalview.Theobliqueviewprimarilyrepresentsthetrueshapeoftheinclinedpartofthecomponent.AABBLabelingoftheObliqueViewa.Thenameoftheviewmustbeindicatedabovetheobliqueview,andanarrowmustbeusednearthecorrespondingviewtoindicatethedirectionofprojection,withthesameletterlabeled.AABBSummaryBBAAA30°Foranobliqueviewthatisrotatedtotheuprightposition,arotationalsymbolwithanarrowmustbeadded.
