Whenspringarrives,therivercomesbacktolifelikeasleepingbeautywakingupfromherslumber.Theicethatoncecovereditmeltsaway,andthewaterbeginstoflowgently,makingasoftgurglingsoundasifitissingingahappysong.Alongtheriverbank,thegrassstartstoturngreen,andwildflowersofvariouscolorsbloominprofusion.Ioftenwalkalongthebank,breathinginthefreshairfilledwiththesweetfragranceoftheflowers.Thegentlebreezecaressesmyface,andIfeelasifIaminafairyland.Sometimes,Iwouldbringabookandsitunderabigwillowtree,readingwhilelisteningtothesoundoftheflowingwater.Itisapeacefulandwonderfultime,awayfromthehustleandbustleofschoolwork.

Summeristhemostexcitingseasonfortheriver.Thesunshinesbrightly,andthewaterbecomeswarm.MyfriendsandIcan'twaittojumpintotherivertocooloff.Wesplashwaterateachother,laughingandscreamingwithjoy.Wealsotrytocatchsmallfishandshrimpsintheshallowwater.Althoughit'snotalwayseasytocatchthem,theprocessisfulloffunandanticipation.Sometimes,wewouldlieontheriverbankafteratiringdayofplaying,lookingupattheblueskywithwhitecloudsfloatingby.Weshareourdreamsandsecrets,andtheriverseemstobelisteningquietly,keepingourpreciousmemories.

Asautumnapproaches,therivertakesonadifferentcharm.Theleavesonthetreesalongthebankturnyellowandred,likebeautifulbutterfliesflutteringintheairbeforegentlyfallingintotheriver.Thewaterbecomesclearer,reflectingthecolorfulsceneryoftheautumn.Iliketotakeastrollalongtheriveratthistime,watchingtheleavesfloatingonthewater,imaginingwheretheywillgo.Theriveratthistimeisabitmoresolemn,asifitistellingthestoryofthepassingseasons.Itmakesmecherisheverymomentandrealizethattimeispassingbyquickly.

Wintercomeswithacoldwind,andtheriveriscoveredwithalayeroficeagain.Itbecomesanaturalicerink.MyfriendsandIputonouriceskatesandglideontheice.Thesoundofourskatescuttingthroughtheiceandourlaughterechointhecoldair.Eventhoughit'scold,ourheartsarefilledwithwarmthandexcitement.Theriverinwinterislikeawhiteworld,pureandbeautiful.

Thisrivernearmyhomeintheseventhgradehasaccompaniedmethroughdifferentseasons,bringingmejoy,peace,andcountlesspreciousmemories.Ithasseenmygrowthfromanaivechildtoamorematurejuniorhighschoolstudent.EverytimeIfeelstressedorsad,Iwouldcometotheriver.Itseemstohaveamagicalpowertosoothemyheartandmakemefeelbetter.

Iknowthatastimegoeson,Imaymoveawayfromthisplace,buttheriverwillalwaysbeinmyheart.Itisnotjustageographicallocation;itisasymbolofmyinnocentandcarefreeyouthintheseventhgrade.Iwillalwaysrememberthesoundofitsflowingwater,the
