根據主謂一致的三個原則(語法一致,意義一致,就近一致),判斷和確定句子的主語和謂語在人稱和數上保持一致2.掌握固定詞組作主語,謂語動詞的數與主語保持一致

在英語句子里,謂語受主語支配,其動詞必須和主語在人稱和數上保持一致,這就叫主謂一致。尋其規律,大致可歸納為三個原則,即語法一致、邏輯意義一致和就近一致原則。(一)語法一致原則

語法一致的原則是指主語為單數或復數時,其謂語動詞要與其相呼應HeistalkingwithhisbrotherTheboysareplayingfootball但我們要注意一些特殊情況;1.and連接的名詞作主語TerryLinandYuquan______(be)popsingers.are

gloves,compasses等作主語時,謂語動詞通常用復數形式.Glasses______(is,are)sometimesimportanttoaperson'simage.are但如與akindof,thekindof,apairof,thepairof等連用,作主語時,謂語動詞用單數形式.

(三)意義一致

主語形式雖是單數,但表示復數意義,謂語動詞采用復數形式;
