Inmyearlyyears,Ididnotseethevalueofeducation.

WhenIwasgoingonthirteen,Istartedtorunmyownshop.Fromthenon,Iworkedhardtobecomeasuccessfulbusinessman.

OnedayIrealizedtheimportanceoftheEnglishlanguageinthebusinessworldandstartedtakingnightclasses.

IwasabletocommunicatewellwithforeigncustomersaftertwoyearsofEnglishstudy.ButIstartedtofeelthat,inthelongrun,havingalimitedknowledgeofEnglishwasnotenoughtomakemybusinesssuccessful.Iknewthatonlyawell-roundededucationcouldguaranteemysuccessinthefuture.

WhenIwaseighteen,Ihadtomakeadecisiontocontinuedoingbusinessorgobacktoschool.Therewasoneobstaclekeepingmefromgettinganadvancededucation.Ihadonlycompletedelementaryschooluptothatpoint.Ithenwentbacktoseniorhighschoolafterfourmonthsoftutoringindifferentsubjects.BeingatschoolforthefirsttimeaftersomanyyearswassomewhatembarrassingbecausemyclassmateswereatleasttwoorthreeyearsyoungerthanI.Iconcludedthatmyagedidnotmatter.Theimportantthingwasgettingintocollege.

ItooktheCollegeEntranceE*ams.Althoughmymathe*amresultwasonlyonepointbelowtherequiredscore.Inevergaveuphope.Thefollowingyear,Itookitagainandreceivedthehighestscoreinmycity.Achievingsuchanamazingresultgavemeencouragementandcouragenecessarytocontinuemyeducationtothene*tstep.

Iamnowinmysecondyearofcollegeandknowthatitisnevertoolatetolearn.MypassionforstudyingandimprovingmyselfwillnevercometoahaltaslongasIcontinuetolive.

“LiveandLearn.”isthemottoIhaveadopted.IbelievewithaneducationIwillsucceed.So,ifyouarewonderingwhethereducationisimportant,don’thesitateamomenttostepupandseizetheopportunity.

我對(duì)教育的看法

在我小的時(shí)候,我不覺(jué)得教育有什么價(jià)值。在13歲的時(shí)候,我開(kāi)始經(jīng)營(yíng)我自己的商店。從那時(shí)開(kāi)始,我為成為一個(gè)勝利的商人而努力工作。

一天,我意識(shí)到了英語(yǔ)對(duì)做生意的重要性并且開(kāi)始上夜校。

在經(jīng)過(guò)兩年的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)之后,我已經(jīng)能夠很流利的和外國(guó)顧客溝通。但我漸漸意識(shí)到,從長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)來(lái)看,我現(xiàn)在僅有的`英語(yǔ)知識(shí)無(wú)法使我的生意蓬勃進(jìn)展。我知道只有淵博的知識(shí)是我將來(lái)勝利的保證。

18歲的時(shí)候,我需要在繼續(xù)從商和重新回學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)之間做出選擇。當(dāng)時(shí)我僅有的學(xué)校學(xué)歷成為我接受高等教育的一大障礙。經(jīng)過(guò)4個(gè)月各門(mén)功課的惡補(bǔ),我又回到了高中。多年后再次回到學(xué)校,讓我有些尷尬。由于我的同班同學(xué)至少比我小2至3歲。然而在我看來(lái),年齡不是問(wèn)題,重要的是能上高校。

我參與了高考。雖然我的數(shù)學(xué)只比分?jǐn)?shù)線低了一分。但我沒(méi)有放棄。第二年,我又參與了高考并取得了當(dāng)?shù)氐牡谝幻5玫竭@樣一個(gè)令人欣喜的結(jié)果,給了我進(jìn)一步深造的動(dòng)力和膽識(shí)。

現(xiàn)在,我上高校二班級(jí),也知道學(xué)無(wú)止境。只要我活者,我對(duì)學(xué)習(xí)和自我充盈的熱忱就不會(huì)減退。

“活到老,學(xué)到老”是我的座右銘。我堅(jiān)信只有學(xué)習(xí)才會(huì)使我勝利。因此,假如你對(duì)接受教育的重要性有所懷疑,不要遲疑,勇猛的邁出第一步,這樣幸運(yùn)之神便會(huì)光顧你。
