1、 Unit 6-Disaster and hope第三課時-listening and speaking教學設計(一)教學內容分析本板塊包括詞匯部分Types of natural disasters和聽說部分Extreme weather conditions。詞匯部分通過圖片呈現與自然災害有關的詞匯,旨在引導學生掌握并運用自然災害相關的話題詞匯,并運用這些詞匯表達個人觀點;聽說部分的材料是一則天氣預報,旨在引導學生理解播報內容和相關知識。整個板塊為學生提供真實語境下的英語技能的綜合訓練,幫助學生在提高語言應用能力的同時加深對單元主題的理解。(二)教學目標By the end of the
2、class, you will be able to:1. tell the main idea of the weather forecast;2. note down the detailed information of the weather forecast;3. talk about another extreme weather condition in a similar conversation;4. describe another natural disaster and voice your opinions.(三)教學重點難點1.Grasp the main idea
3、s and integrating information while listening; 2.learn to describe extreme weather conditions in daily life.(四)教學難點:1.Talk about another extreme weather condition.(五)教學過程教學過程(表格描述)教學環節主要教學活動設置意圖Step 1Lead-inTeacher asks Ss to read “Did you know?” on page 67 and answer these questions.(1) How did peo
4、ple record weather forecasts in Shang Dynasty?(2) How do scientists predict the weather today?激活已知,激發學習興趣。學習關于天氣預報發展過程的知識,幫助學生更好地理解聽力材料的內容。Step 2Listening for main idea1. Teacher asks the Ss to red the map and predict the main idea.2. Teacher encourages Ss to share what each symbol stands for.聽前讀圖,進
5、行聽力策略指導,根據圖片和聽的內容預測主旨。3.The teacher guides Ss to learn the listening strategy in “learning to learn” on page 67.4.Teacher plays the audio and asks students to listen for the first time, and match the weather symbols to the locations on the map and share their answers.Step 3Listening for detailed inf

9、ribe the disasters the pictures in Activity 4 show by using the words and expressions they have learned. 5.T encourages Ss to think about the most dangerous one among those disasters and some other big natural disasters in history.有效使用口語表達意義和進行人際交流。Step 6Revision1.
