1、 希望英語示范課HOPE ENGLISH SERIES武漢科技大學城市學院 梁熹 09.8 太原我校高職高專英語教學(基礎英語)開設專業:城市學院專科各專業開設學期:1-3學期開設課程名稱:大學英語/教材:希望英語(1-3冊)我校高職高專英語教學總體安排三學期英語教學總學時:216學時每學期教學總學時:72學時每教學周學時:4學時每學期教學時間:18周我校學生生源情況城市學院目前在校生共1萬5千人左右城市學院本科每年共招生:2200人城市學院專科每年共招生:1500人希望英語系列教材在我校已經使用四年時間。在這四年期間,希望英語系列教材以其豐富的內容,新穎的形式,活潑生動的文章,深受老師,學生
2、的喜愛。成為我校專科各專業英語教育中較權威的系列教材。同時,希望英語系列教材為專科各專業學生通過湖北省英語能力應用等級考試(簡稱英語三級考試)提供了相當全面,細致的輔導。使我校專科學生三級考試通過率一直處于較高水平。據統計,我校每年英語三級通過率保持在80%以上(第二,三學期累計),個別專業或班級可達到90%。希望英語教材使用感受1.綜合教程(學生用書)1)話題時代性,趣味性強,貼近學生生活。例如大學生活(college life),體育(sports), 音樂(music),旅游(travel),寵物(pets)等等。2)任務型設計所有的活動圍繞任務展開,各種任務通過聽,說,閱讀,語法,應用
3、文寫作讓學生習得語言,學生能積極參與,有成就感。3)教材起點符合學生的水平高職學生基礎較差,很多學生沒有掌握高中階段的英語知識。該教材的詞匯、語法、句子成分,都定位于高中水平,這就使學生的英語基礎與教材之間有了有效的銜接,使學生能夠學得下去,不會有畏難情緒。4)活動設計很有啟發性,也給老師留下了自由發揮的空間。如 role play, presentation, language points 等等。2.教師用書將學生課本、教學指導、教案與答案融為一體,采用與學生用書對照排版的形式,減輕了老師的負擔,為教學提供方便。3.學習卡活頁形式,為學生提供練習題和學習方法指導。“學習策略卡”有效地指導學
