7、h long history. It was called Luzhou or Luyang. The city is lo- cated in the center of Anhui Province and Jianghuai area, on the north of Chao Lake. It governs four districts: East Market, West Market, Central Market and suburb, and three towns: Changfeng, Feidong and Feixi. It covers 7266skm (458sk
8、m downtown) with 4,259,000 populations (1,279,400 populations in down- town). The city features as wide roads, lush trees, beautiful landscape, modernarchitecture and historic relics. Hefei is an old but robust city.岸,轄東市、西市、中市、郊區4區和長東、肥西3縣。總面積7266(市區458)平方公里,人口425.9(市區127.94)萬。市內道路寬闊,綠樹成蔭,景色優美,既多現代

10、&D base. There are more than 30 colleges in Hefei.“合肥”名稱之由來,說法不一。北魏酈道元所著水經注載:“夏水暴 漲,施合于淝,故曰合淝。”通常把施水叫南淝河,肥水叫東淝河,這是一種說 法。唐代有人提出另一種說法,淝水出雞鳴山,北流二十里分而為二,其一東南 流(南淝河),經過這里入巢湖;其一西北支(東淝河),二百里出壽春入淮河。爾雅上指出“歸異出同曰肥”。二水皆曰淝,合于一源,分而為二,故曰合肥。There are different stories about the name of Hefei. Shui Jing Zhu, wri
11、tten by Li Daoyuan (North Wei Dynasty) says: its name came from a flood. At that time, Shi River and Fei River joined together, and the city got the name of Hefei. Another story says that Fei River splits to South Fei River and East Fei River. So the cityis called Hefei.合肥市素以“三國舊地、包拯故里”聞名于世,具有“淮右襟喉、
12、江南唇 齒”的戰略地位,常為兵家必爭之地。三國時魏將張遼大敗孫權十萬大軍的逍遙津戰役,即發生在這里。兩千多年前,這里就已開始形成商業都會。秦、漢在此Hefei is famed as the site of Three Kingdoms and hometown of Bao Zheng with strategic significance. 38、 railway station, we fully consider the functional location in each district and the develop- ment value of the waterfront area. The land use lo- cation is shown in the plan.The new town center will be on the best location of the waterfront area. It will be the visual focus as well as linkage of the
39、 old city and waterfront area. The business office and convention & exhibition are just next to the town center. Further to the southwest, the waterfront area will be developed to culture and ecological museum. The commercial surrounding the proposed high-speed railway station will be en- hanced
40、, and the light industry is on the north of the station. Between the new town center and the com- mercial, the college and education will be devel-oped.passing the neighborhood commercial,the residential in different density will be developedin phases according to the market demand. Properly use the
41、 existing wetland on the east, protect the na- ture as possible, renovate the valuable wetland park, and integrate the human with the nature.在土地使用上,我們結合基地現狀和將來高速鐵路站點的引入,充分考慮不同區域的功能重點,以及濱湖地帶的開發價值,形成了的土地利用分布。新市政中心將建在湖濱的最佳位置,它即使整個湖濱的視 覺中心,也是老城區與湖濱連接的端點, 商務辦公和會展將會分布在市政中心附近,繼續往西南方向的沿湖地帶未來將開發為設施和博物館為主的區域。

From the footpath to the rail system, we will address all aspects including pedestrian, bicyc
44、le, auto, bus, BRT and light rail systems. We believe that a legible and permeable development is important for the Legacy as it must occur on all levels and at all modes of transport. We envision a metro line or rail bus, whose route and
