2、shes in the kitchen. I can't relax either. I must read a book before I can watch TV. I have to help mom make breakfast. 2. 情感態度價值觀目標: 能讀懂一些英語的規則制度,能用英語表達和制定一些簡單的規則,理解沒有規矩不成方圓;無論是在學校時還是在家庭中以及以后走上社會都應當遵守規則,按規則辦事。 二、教學重難點1. 教學重點: 1) 學習本課時出現的新詞匯及表達方式。 2) 通過進行聽力訓練,讓學生們能聽懂本節課時所出現的新的表達方式。 3) 通過進行閱讀練習來進
3、一步學習運用本課時的新語言知識。 2. 教學難點 1) 閱讀訓練。 2) 理解must, have to/ can/can't的用法 三、教學過程 . Warming- up and revision 1. Greet the Ss. 2. Check the homework. Let some Ss read their home rules. . Presentation 1. Show some pictures on the big screen and let Ss learn the new words and expressions. 2. 學生看著1a部分的圖片 T:
4、 What day is it today? Ss: Its Tuesday. T: The boy is going out on school nights. (板書,教讀) 學生理解school nights的含義。 Can you go out on school nights? Ss: No, we cant. T: Yes, in China, the students cant go out on school nights. So please dont go out on school nights. 3. 請學生朗讀1部分的rules,并將圖片ah的序號填寫在1b這些規則前
5、的方框中。 4. Check the answers with the class. . Listening 1. Tell Ss they'll listen to the recording about Dave's house rules. Listen and put an× for things Dave can't do and a for things he has to do. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and check. 3. Play the recording again fo
6、r the Ss to check the answers. . Listening 1. Now let's work on 1c. Now first, let's read the phrases aloud together. 2. Explain the meaning of the phrases if necessary. 3. Play the recording three times for the Ss to listen and write the phrases in the chart in 1b. (指導:聽一遍時應僅聽,不寫,并聽準確與每個活動相

Careful reading 1) Read the letter again and underline the rules for Molly. 2) Ss read the letter and try to find the rules for Molly and underline them. 3) Check the answers wi
12、th the class. (Let some Ss read their answers aloud. Let other Ss add some rules. ) 3. Careful reading 1) Read Dr. Know's letter and answer this question: What does she think of the school and home rules? 2) Ss read Dr Know's letter and find the answer to this question. 3) Let one student re
13、ad out his/her answer. (She thinks parents and schools are sometimes strict, but they make rules to help us. We have to follow them. ) . Reading 1. Read the letter again and complete the sentences with have to/ must, can or can't. 2. 提示: have to與must的用法: 1)must表示一種主觀的需要,而have to表示一種客觀的需要,意思是不得不。
14、如: I have to attend an important meeting this afternoon. 今天下午我不得不參加一個重要的會議。 Mother is out, so I have to look after the shop. 媽媽不在家,因此我不得不照看商店。 2)have to的否定形式是dont have to, 相當于neednt。如: They dont have to buy a computer at present. 他們目前沒有必要買電腦。 3. 閱讀指導:1) 首先,認真閱讀2c中的這些句子,明白它們所談論的相關規則。 2)帶著相關規則再去讀2a中的信
15、,在與之相關的內容處認真分析,理解規則的真正含義,并填上正確的詞匯。 3)再次閱讀這些句子一遍,看是否通順。 4. Check the answers. Homework 1. Remember the new words and expressions in this period. 2.
