unit10 you are supposed to shake hands.第一課時: new words and phrasesteaching and learning goals:一、語言知識和語言技能:1. 能爭取學會使用下列詞匯造句子。kiss,greet,relaxed,value,capital,noon,mad,passport,chalk,blackboard,northern,coast,season,knock,eastern,worth,manner,basic,exchange,granddaughter,except,suggestion.2. 能爭取在具體情景下學會使用下列常用短語進行英語表達。drop by, get mad, make an effort, cleanoff, take off, go out of ones way ,get used to, makefeel at home.3. 能認讀及明確下列詞匯的漢語意思即可 custom, bow, teenage, elbow, gradually.4. 理解、翻譯并復述運用本節課的新詞匯所編寫的故事,利用故事記憶單詞。二、學習策略:1. 依據圖片理解和記憶詞匯。(understand and remember the words and phrases with the help of the pictures.)2. 在語境中理解和記憶詞匯。(understand and remember the words and phrases in the context.)3. 依據讀音規則、構詞規律理解和記憶詞匯。(understand and remember the words and phrases according to phonetic rules, the structures of the words and phrases.)4. 基于同伴互助的方式學習詞匯,并運用新學詞匯與同伴交流。(learn and express with the new words in groups.)三、情感態度:了解世界世界各國不同的風俗禮儀,告誡我們入鄉隨俗的道理。teaching and learning steps:step i. learn how to read the new words1. lead-int: do you know each country has different rules about social situations? lets look at the pictures. what kind of customs do they describe differently? different countries have different customs and manners. before you want to know more about them, you should learn some new words. open your books to page 165. look at the new words in this unit.1 read the new words in unit 10 by themselves according to their pronunciations and mark the difficult words to read. read the marked words to your partner. 2. listen to the tape. then follow and repeat.3. work in groups to help each other to correct the pronunciation.4. read aloud one group by one group. (設計說明:九年級的學生已經具備了根據音標讀出單詞的能力,因此首先讓學生自己讀出單詞,然后讀給全班聽,由老師糾正。再跟讀磁帶,以獲取純正讀音。最后,利用小組互助的形式讓每一個學生都能讀出單詞。等大家熟讀后,再讓小組中最差的學生讀,其他小組予以糾正,老師予以輔助。以保證所有學生都能熟練讀出單詞,語音純正,發音準確。)step ii. learn how to memorize the new words and phrases1. remember the words and phrases according to the pictures.t: we can read these words now. but how can we remember them more easily? first, lets learn some new words by looking at the pictures. passport n.護照1. people need passports to enter foreign countries. chalk n.粉筆 blackboard n.黑板2. the teacher writes with pieces of chalk on the blackboard. coast n. 海濱,海岸3. lets have a walk on the coast. elbow n.肘部 4. you shouldnt put your elbows on the table at table. bow v. 鞠躬5. people should bow when they meet in japan and korea. kiss v.親吻 6. mother kissed her daughter on both sides of her face, mad adj. 很生氣,瘋的7. dont get mad. please take it easy. capital n.首都,國都8. beijing is the capital of china.(設計意圖:教師先創造情景,引導學生據圖片補全句子,既有助于直觀地記憶,又能通過建立語境和語義之間的關系,促進理解、加深記憶,避免孤立地機械記憶。)2. remember the words according to their similar pronunciation.moon( 月亮) -noon(正午,中午)reason(原因) -season(季節)lock(鎖上,鎖) - knock(敲,撞)word(單詞) - worth(值得,價值)meet(遇見) - greet(和打招呼,迎接)3. remember the words and phrases by conversion(轉換), compound(合成)and derivative(派生)(1) conversion(轉換):一個單詞(或短語)由一種詞類用作另一種詞類my pocket has been emptied and its empty now. please empty yours, too. (n.-v.) n.親吻 v.吻(2) compound(合成): 將兩個或兩個以上的單詞合成在一起而構成的新詞grand +daughter(女兒)granddaughter(孫女)black(黑色的)+board(木板) blackboard(黑板)pass(經過)+port(港口) passport(護照)(3) derivative(派生): 在詞根上加前綴或后綴構成另一個與原意略有變化或截然相反的詞名詞+ern形容詞 1)north(名詞,北方,北部)+ern northern(形容詞,北方的,北部的)northern people live in the north.2)east(名詞,東方,東部)+ern eastern(形容詞,東方的,東部的)the eastern european countries are in the east of europe.形容詞+r名詞 : 3)teenage(青少年的,形容詞,)+r teenager(名詞,青少年 ) she isnt teenager, but she has a teenage daughter. 動詞+tion名詞4)suggest (動詞,建議)+ tion suggestion(名詞,建議)our teacher suggested that we should accept some good suggestions. 形容詞副詞: 5)gradual(形容詞,逐漸的,漸進的)+lygradually(副詞,逐漸地) study is a gradual process but he is gradually used to it. ( )(本單元的知識樹是老師編好的,其實學生也能編出來類似的故事,所以這個作業便于學生學會生詞的運用。)(說明:此處的星級為難度等級)本節課亮點:1. 注重單詞的朗讀,在讀上下功夫。 首先要求學生進行自讀,然后讀給同伴聽,再讀給全班同學聽,老師予以糾正。為保證發音的純正,讓學生分組朗讀,再跟著磁帶讀,最后相互糾正發音,直到所有的學生都能正確讀音。2. 單詞記憶形式多樣,方法科學有效。教學單詞避免了純粹的教讀單詞,而是借助情景展示、語境導入、圖片識詞、拼讀規則、結構規律、拆分巧記、故事背誦等方式記憶單詞,既豐富了學生記憶單詞的方式
