●Studentsfinishwritingtasksbyparticipatinginboththeindividuallearningandcooperativelearning.Throughdoingtheindividualwork,theywillbeabletodeveloptheirautonomouslearningabilityandgainmoreknowledgeaboutlexicalresources.

●Studentshavetheopportunitytoexchangeideasaboutvocabulary,expressions,andsentencepatternswiththeirgroupmembersthroughcooperativelearning.

Studentsarefosteredtoshowapositiveattitudetowardshighlightsofseniorschoolyearsandcherishtheirlearningandstudyinglife.

II.AnalysisofTeachingMaterial&Students

Thewritingtopicofthismoduleishighlightsofstudentshighschoolyearandwhatrolethesewonderfulactivitiesplayintheirschoollife.Studentshaveexperiencedtheirhighschoollifewhichhasleftadeepimpressiononthem.Itisafamiliartopictoseniorhighschoolstudents,sotheyhavethecompetenceoflinguisticoutputconcerningthistopic.

Studentsareintheirsecondyearofseniorhighschoolandhavegrasparelativelywiderangeoflanguagecompetence,problem-solvingabilityandteamworkspirit.Theyareveryinterestedinknowingwritingstrategiesofdescribingextracurricularactivitiesandtheirfeelingsaboutthem.Butsomeofthestudentsarenotveryfamiliarwiththecriteriaandrequirementsofthewritingexamination,andtheytendtolacktheopportunitytoapplywhattheyhavelearnedintopractice.
