wouldgenerallypasswithsimplyanodoragreetinginanotherlanguage,therewasonemanwhodidneither.

Isawhimcomingandashegotcloser.Icouldseethat,unlikeotherhikers,hewaswearingtraditionalEgyptian

galabia（長袍）.Whatmadehisappearancesostrangewasthatthemandidn'tevenappeartobeEgyptian,butwasa

small-framedAsianmanwithlittlehairandroundglasses.

Aswcnearedoneanother,IsaidHello,butnotasoundcamefromhim.Ithoughtmaybehehadn'theardme.Suddenly

hestoppeddirectlyinfrontofme,lookedupfromtheground,andspokeasinglesentencetomeinEnglish,“Sometimes
