可以表示“變成”的一些動詞grow，turn，go，get，come，fall等動詞均有“變成”的意思，但它們在用法上有時有差別。grow表示“（逐漸）變得”，比get要正式些：growdark（變黑）grow=getslowly慢慢變得他已經變胖了。Hehasgrownfat.他變得喜歡學數學了。Hehasgrowntolikestudyingmath.24

turn表示“把（狀態、性質）改變（成）……”或“使變顏色”等秋天葉子會變黃。
