Its nice to meet you.i. 該句中should表示建議和要求,意味應該,其形式為should+動詞原形。若改成一般疑問句,則把should提到主語的前面。我們還可以在should前面加上how,when,where,who等疑問副詞,使其變成特殊疑問句。Eg. I should ta

3、lk to them. 一般疑問句:Should I talk to them? 特殊疑問句:(劃線部分提問)Who should I talk to?ii. When 引導時間狀語從句時,表示 “當?shù)臅r候” 。它引導的時間狀語從句通常用一般現(xiàn)在時表示一般將來時。所以該句子中用meet而不用will meet。Eg. When you wait for a bus, you should line up.iii. Shake hands意思為 握手。 握某人的手可以說成shake ones hand,和某人握手則為shake hands with sb.Eg. I dreamed of sha

4、king hands with the chairman of my company.b. We usually dont hug people when we meet them the first time.Dont 可放在頻度副詞usually前面,也可放在它后面,只是強調(diào)內(nèi)容稍有不同而已。但放在前面的用法較多。Eg. We don't usually get up early when we have no classes. We usually don't get up early when we have no classes.c. They arent here.

5、該句在此為電話用語,相當于theyre not at home. 或theyre not in.此外,我們要注意,在電話用語中,you應該改說成That,I 應改成this。 Eg. Hello,this is Mary. Is that Ann? No, sorry. 7、由課文對話可知,它描述的是過去發(fā)生的事情,所以該句的謂語動詞用的都是一般過去時Eg. When Tim heard the fire alarm, he got up quickly.ii. Look out of the windowb. what did you do then? I left my room. I didnt take my things.以前我們學過一些表順序的副詞,如first, next, then, after that. 通常用法為 ”first, Next, Then, After that, ”, 用于回答 ”what did you do ?” 一類的問句

8、。它們還可用在問句中,如 “what did you do then? / what did you do next?”. 其答句的時態(tài)應與問句一致。 如該講解句中用的是簡單的一般過去時。Eg. What did you do next?We went outside quickly.c. when I was young, I couldnt play with candles. I couldnt either.i. When 用法很廣,既可指某一瞬間,又可指某段時間,因此when引導的狀語從句中的動詞可以是瞬間動詞,也可以是表示狀態(tài)的持續(xù)性動詞。該句表達的是某段時間 “小時候” 。ii.

9、 Could是can的過去式。iii. Play with是玩。iv. 答句中either是“也”的意思,用在否定句中。雖然該句是表同意對方觀點的意思,但我們?nèi)匀徊荒苡胻oo,too只能放在肯定句中。Also 可用在句中。Eg. - When I lived there, I couldnt play with fire.- I couldnt either.Unit 3 Lets go shopping 學習目標a. 本課主要指導學生在商場如何運用英語來表達自己所偏愛的東西。b. 學會用too來修飾形容詞。c. 學會用形容詞來描述事情。d. 學會在肯定句中用too來表達與對方意見一致。學習要

Its nice but its too thick.該句是一個轉(zhuǎn)折并列句,but是表轉(zhuǎn)折的并列連詞。Too用于形容詞thick之前,意思是 “太,過于”Eg. The doll is cute but its too expensive.b. That's not

11、too expensive. I have enough money. Ill take that one.i. 句中too不是“也”的意思,而是修飾形容詞expensive,意為“太,過于”。Expensive意為 “昂貴的” ,其反義詞是cheap,意思是 “便宜的” 。ii. Enough可用作副詞,也可用作形容詞。在此它作形容詞,修飾名詞money,此時enough放在名詞前后均可。當它作副詞的時候,只能放在被修飾詞之后,如:good enoughEg. I have enough food. My old car is colourful enough.c. Yes, I like

12、it, too.該句是用來表達和對方意見一致的句子。Too在此意為 “也” ,用在肯定句中。若在否定句中,則要用either。eg. I don't like it either. Unit 4 Revision生詞1. They work so hard.i. 前一句用了形容詞最高級most amazing。后一句是用來解說前一句的。句中amazing意為“令人驚奇的”,與本課所學新單詞surprising同義,但amazing的語氣比surprising更強。若以人作主語,則用其被動形式amazed或surprised。 Eg. I think whales are the most amazing/ surprising anima

18、ls. They can get very old.ii. So 在此作程度副詞,意思是“很,非常”,相當于very。b. Whales live the longest.該句中l(wèi)ong是副詞,在此用了其副詞最高級longest,其構(gòu)詞法和形容詞相同,但別忘了在最高級前要加the。Eg. Deep-deepest; easily-most easily; quickly-most quickly; slowly-most slowlyBees and ants work the hardest.Cheetahs run the fastest.You walk the most slowly.

19、c. Cheetahs run faster than any other animal.i. 該句中fast是副詞,在此用了其副詞比較級faster,其構(gòu)詞法和形容詞相同。 Eg. Deep-deeper; quickly-more quickly; easily-more easily; slowly-more slowlyii. Any other 意為“其他任何一種(一個)”。所以該句又可寫成“cheetahs run the fastest.”Eg. Tom jumps higher than any other student in his classroom. 相當于Tom ju

20、mps the highest in his class. You walk more slowly than any other animal. 相當于You walk the most slowly. I was playing basketball with Peter and John.i. 問句用了一般過去時,表示對過去某一段時間狀態(tài)的提問。答句中第一句的對問句的直接回答,時態(tài)與問句一致。 第二句是對第一句的補充,是解說在那個時間點(at 2:30)發(fā)生的事情,用

22、的是過去進行時,該時態(tài)的本課重點。ii. 其形式為“was/ were + V-ing”,表示在過去某一時刻或某一段時間內(nèi)進行或發(fā)生的動作,還可以表示在過去某個時間點發(fā)生的事情。本課接觸的主要是最后一種情況。Eg. Where were you? At 1:00, I was at the gym. I was playing basketball with Bob.b. were you at the library? Yes. I was at the library at 3:30. I was reading English newspapers.該問句是一般疑問句,用了一般過去時,表

What were you doing when China got the 2008 Olympics?過去進行時和一般過去時經(jīng)常在一個句子里同時使用。過去進行時表示過去正在進行的情況或動作,一般過去時則表示比較短暫的動作或事件。該疑問句用了過去進行時,表示過去某個時間點發(fā)生的事情。此處when引導的從句表示時間點。Eg. What was Lily doing when the teacher came in? She was reading a magazine.b. I was doing homework when I saw the
