2、milar to other students. 3. be responsible for 對負責 e.g.: The man is responsible for sales. 4. fail an exam 考試不及格 ,與fail有關的詞組有:fail to do sth. fail in doing sth. 做某事失敗5. continue doing sth. 繼續做某事go on doing sth. 6. shout at 對著喊 (不友善的) shout to 對大喊 (沒有不友好的)7. stare at 盯著看:look
3、at sth. with interest8. steal sth. from sb. 從某人那里偷到什么,容易與它混淆的 :rob sb. of sth. 從某人那里搶來什么東西。rob (v. )搶劫- robber (n. )搶劫犯-robbery (n. )搶劫案9. be afraid of sth. 害怕與此相關的詞組:be afraid of doing sth. 害怕做某事be afraid to do sth. 擔心做某事 這兩個詞組有時可以相等,但是有時不能替換。e.g.: I am afraid of going out at night. 不能說成 I am afrai
4、d to go out at night. 10. hope to do sth. 希望做某事hopethat 從句 e.g.: I hope you will write to me soon. 注意:絕對不能用 hope sb. to do sth. 希望某人做某事可以說成:expect sb. to do sth. 三. 重點句子:1. I am about five feet tall. 我大概有五英尺高。英尺要用feet,英寸是inches. 其中對 five feet提問,應該用 How tall are you ? 類似這樣的句子
5、還有:The river is 100 meters long. 對 100 meters 提問是 :How long is the river? 但要注意表示距離的 如:My house is only 300 meters away from here. 對300 meters 提問 就是:How far is your house from here? 而不是 How away is your house from here?2. My favourite hobby is playing computer games. 我最大的愛好是玩電腦游戲。 f
6、avourite 最喜歡的like best is doing 是解釋前面的詞的性質或是內容。My fathers favourite hobby is smoking. 3. I like my school because the teachers are very friendly. 我喜歡我的學校因為老師們都很友善。friendly 友善的。是形容詞而不是副詞。be friendly to sb. 對某人友善 e.g.: My teacher is very friendly to us. beca
7、use 引導的是原因狀語從句,要用why 來提問:Why do you like your school? 4. My ambition is to be an engineer. 我的志向是當一名工程師。 ambition: strong wish 雄心,志向 to be 動詞不定式做表語His ambition is to be a teacher. Whats your ambition?5. I enclose a photo of myself and some school friends. 我附上一張我和我學校里的朋友的相片。

12、開車的年齡。I am too young to drive.I am so young that I cant drive. enough (adj. )足夠的,充足的,修飾名詞時放在名詞前e.g. There is enough food for everyone. enough (adv. )足夠地,充足地,放在形容詞和副詞后e.g. He didnt run fast enough to catch the bus. 10. The other students often ask me to assist them. 其他的學生們經常讓我幫助他們。ask sb. to do sth.

15、音開頭還是輔音開頭,要根據其讀音而不是根據字母。Eg: an honest boy, a useful book There is an “ f ” in the word “ five ”. (二)第三人稱單數形式: 在動詞原形后加-s : runs,likes以ch,sh,s,o,x,結尾的動詞,在詞尾加-es : teaches,washes,goes,passes以輔音字母加y結尾的動詞,先將y變i加-es : studies,tries以元音字母加y結尾的動詞,在詞尾加-s : stays,plays
16、 五. 動詞過去式的變化:在動詞原形后加-ed : watched以輔音字母加y結尾的動詞,先將y變i再加ed : studied以e 結尾的動詞,直接加-d : liked以重讀閉音節結尾且結尾只有一個輔音字母的,雙寫此輔音字母后加-ed : stopped還有一些不規則變化:run-run,buy- bought,fall-fell 【典型例題】1. _ the street, there is a huge department. (A) A. at the end of B. in the end of C. at the end D. in the end at the end of 后加名詞,構成地點狀語,表示在的盡頭,in the end 是時間狀語,表示“最后” 2. We _ that
