1、Lesson9:How long may I keep the book?學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo):1. 理解會(huì)說(shuō)會(huì)用會(huì)寫以下單詞和短語(yǔ)Keep a book, finish, renew a book2. 理解會(huì)說(shuō)會(huì)用以下一些常用句型How long may I keep ?What must I do if I cant?You must come and renew it.3. 能準(zhǔn)確理解本課對(duì)話內(nèi)容,并能在實(shí)際生活中和別人進(jìn)行練習(xí)。學(xué)習(xí)重難點(diǎn):這一課我們談?wù)摰娜匀皇窃趫D書館里借書的話題,但側(cè)重于用英語(yǔ)談?wù)撐铱梢越瓒嚅L(zhǎng)時(shí)間的書以及如果在限定時(shí)間內(nèi)還不了書該如何處理的話題。學(xué)會(huì)詢問(wèn)時(shí)間長(zhǎng)短的句型 How

2、long may I keep? 以及掌握情態(tài)動(dòng)詞 must的用法.教學(xué)過(guò)程:1. 展示目標(biāo):2. 自學(xué)導(dǎo)引:看圖片猜單詞翻譯:How long may I keep the book?What must I do if I can not finish it?3. 小組合作討論4. 檢查自學(xué)效果:展示自學(xué)內(nèi)容5. 精講點(diǎn)評(píng):教師和學(xué)生一起唱歌或chant, 鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生加上動(dòng)作來(lái)活躍課堂氣氛。然后用CAI出示不同英文故事書的名稱,要學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)。教師將學(xué)生分組,分角色朗讀對(duì)話,為本節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí)做鋪墊。主頁(yè)圖上的人物 A: a librarian B: Li DongA: What can I do f

How long can I keep it?A: Three weeks.B: Oh, thats enough.教師在上一節(jié)課學(xué)習(xí)的基礎(chǔ)上,進(jìn)一步學(xué)習(xí)在圖書館借書的基本句型。教師在黑板上出示兩個(gè)單詞。borrow 借 return 還教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用上面兩個(gè)單詞造句。例如:I want to borrow a book. Please return it tomorrow.I want

Please return it next week.教師講解,在圖書館借書時(shí),管理人員會(huì)要求我們?cè)谝?guī)定時(shí)間內(nèi)還書。這時(shí)我們會(huì)經(jīng)常用到句型Youd better return 這是比 Please return 更為委婉的說(shuō)法。小教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生將以上句型進(jìn)行轉(zhuǎn)換,例如:I want to borrow a book. Youd better return it tomorrow.I want to borrow your pen. Youd better return it next week.借書時(shí),管理員會(huì)囑咐我們Youd better return

(你最好在兩個(gè)星期內(nèi)還書)所以也就是說(shuō)我們可以借這本書兩個(gè)星期,我們還可以用另一種方法來(lái)表達(dá)You can keep the books for two weeks.(出示圖片 keep the book 擁有這本書)教師可以引導(dǎo)學(xué)生再一次將以上兩個(gè)句型進(jìn)行轉(zhuǎn)換I want to borrow a book. You can keep the book for one day.I want to borrow your pen. You can keep the pen for a week.教師將答句寫在黑板上。T:So do you know

6、how to ask a question? 那么你們知道怎么問(wèn)嗎?在這里我們要學(xué)習(xí)一個(gè)用來(lái)詢問(wèn)時(shí)間長(zhǎng)短的疑問(wèn)副詞how long ,表示多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間 For example,How long may I keep the book? 這本書我可以借多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間?How long do you go to zoo ? 你多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間去一次動(dòng)物園?How long does she go to the library? 她多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間去一次圖書館?教師在黑板上的答句中的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)下畫出橫線,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生對(duì)畫線部分提問(wèn)。How long can I keep the book?How long can I keep y

7、our pen?回答時(shí),我們除了可以用had better to,還可以用情態(tài)動(dòng)詞must。當(dāng)然 must比had better to的語(yǔ)氣更強(qiáng)硬,更有命令性。For example,You must return the book in two weeks.所以以上的答句還可以說(shuō)成You must return the book tomorrow.You must return the pen next week.T: What must we do if we can't finish it? (出示圖片 finish, 完成For example , finish the hom

8、ework (寫完作業(yè))finish the books (讀完書)還可以說(shuō) finish reading the books(讀完書)finish doing the homework. (寫完作業(yè))如果我們?cè)谝?guī)定的時(shí)間里不能按時(shí)還書,我們應(yīng)該怎么辦?If we cant finish the book, we must renew the book.(出示圖片, renew the book, renew 是刷新的意思)6:當(dāng)堂訓(xùn)練教師和學(xué)生之間進(jìn)行對(duì)話,教師為圖書管理員,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)本節(jié)課和上節(jié)課所學(xué)過(guò)的重點(diǎn)句型。T:What can I do for you?S: I want to
