4、是job application letter 或cover letter。它是隨簡歷寄出、表面本人意愿和申請(qǐng)某一工作理由的信件。寫求職信的目的是為了取得一個(gè)工作職位。因此,求職信的作用是讓招聘者知道你非常想而且有能力擔(dān)任此職位,吸引他們閱讀你的簡歷等材料。一封出色的、體現(xiàn)個(gè)人才智的求職信給招聘者留下良好的印象,使他們相信你是一個(gè)值得考慮的人選,從而使你在眾多的求職者中獲得面談的機(jī)會(huì)。2主要內(nèi)容(Content)申請(qǐng)信的正文一般有三至四個(gè)段落組成,其內(nèi)容可分為三大部分:1)起首段落:求職信的起首段落簡短明了,直接切入主題,說明寫信的目的。對(duì)于應(yīng)聘申請(qǐng)信,開始就應(yīng)說明你所申請(qǐng)的職位以及你的信息來

5、源,比如見廣告應(yīng)征,經(jīng)他人介紹前來應(yīng)征等。2)主體部分(一到兩段):概括本人的經(jīng)歷和特長,說服招聘者相信你的背景使你能夠勝任工作。一般來講,你應(yīng)從三個(gè)方面進(jìn)行陳述,即:教育、工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)和個(gè)人技能。至于每一方面應(yīng)包括哪些信息,應(yīng)該重點(diǎn)強(qiáng)調(diào)什么,則取決于工作的具體要求和你的個(gè)人情況。可以對(duì)簡歷中提到的與應(yīng)聘職位有關(guān)的職業(yè)經(jīng)歷和技能加以說明,也可以把簡歷表中沒有的一些內(nèi)容加進(jìn)去,以顯示出你與其他應(yīng)聘者的不同之處。即將畢業(yè)的大學(xué)生無實(shí)際工作經(jīng)驗(yàn),但可以略述在校期間所接受相關(guān)職業(yè)培訓(xùn)的情況或從事社會(huì)實(shí)踐、兼職工作的情況。3)結(jié)尾:申請(qǐng)信的目的是爭取獲得面試機(jī)會(huì),因此往往以請(qǐng)求面試作結(jié)尾。請(qǐng)求既要直接,又要

6、禮貌。在這里申請(qǐng)者應(yīng)留下自己的聯(lián)系地址和電話以及聯(lián)系時(shí)間,也可表示自己主動(dòng)前來面試。3寫作建議(Writing Tips)撰寫一封得體的求職信可能使你在尋找工作時(shí)遇到的最棘手的問題之一。撰寫英語求職信時(shí)應(yīng)注意:1)語言簡潔準(zhǔn)確。求職信要突出求職的主題,開場(chǎng)白要直截了當(dāng),直接闡明寫信意圖。文字力求言簡意賅,表達(dá)準(zhǔn)確。開場(chǎng)白要有點(diǎn)創(chuàng)新,以抓住讀信人的注意力。盡量使用短句,少用過分復(fù)雜的句子。另外,層次要分明,使讀信人一目了然。2)語言表達(dá)得體。在寫求職信時(shí),話語要有禮貌,既要尊重對(duì)方,又切忌迎合與恭維對(duì)方。避免用主觀判斷性的語言和評(píng)論性的話語,在敘述自己的能力水平時(shí),不要過分夸大,不要說出與事實(shí)不

7、符的能力來,尤其不要抬高自己貶低別人。語氣要肯定自信,但不要過分以免給人高傲自大之惑。4格式與范例(Layouts and Samples)4.1 求職信的格式英語求職信的格式有6部分組成。帶簡歷的求職信由7個(gè)部分組成:1) 信頭(Heading):發(fā)信人地址、電話、E-mail及日期等。2) 信內(nèi)地址(Inside Address):收信人姓名、頭銜、公司名稱、地址。3) 稱呼(Salutation):位于信內(nèi)地址下面,空兩行。4) 信函正文(Body of the Letter):一般以兩三段或一頁紙為宜。5) 結(jié)尾謙稱(Complimentary Close)英國英語常采用Yours f

8、aithfully, 美國英語則多采用Faithfully yours, 甚至有時(shí)還省略yours。6) 簽名(Signature):簽名必須是自己的手寫簽名,一般在結(jié)尾謙稱下留三行間距以便簽自己的名字,然后是打字的姓名及頭銜。7) 附件(Enclosure):位于左下角,縮寫為Enc. 。通常包含畢業(yè)證書和學(xué)位證書復(fù)印件、個(gè)人簡歷、技術(shù)資格證書和獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)證書等的復(fù)印件。 (1) Your Name Your Address Your City, State, Zip Code Your E-mailDate(2)Company NameAddressCity, State, Zip Code(3
