Ask the students to make similar conversations with their partner to talk about what people are doing,using other pictures on the screen.課堂互動探究StepII Presentation1.Lead-inT:Look at this picture on the sreen.What are they doing?Ss:They are eating.T:Yes ,they are eating.Where are they eating,at home or at a restaurant?Ss:At a restaurant.T:Yes,they are eating at a restaurant.They are eating out.Show “eat out”on the screen.Teach the other words in the same way.Read the new words .Try to make the students understand and remember them.2.Listening and speaking practice1) Activity 2aAsk the students to read the sentences in 2a.Pay attention to studentspronunciation.Then let them listen to the tape and match the answers with the questions.Check the answers.Then have students read the answers and questions.2) Activity 2bLet the students listen again and fill in the blanks in 2b.Remind them to pay attention to the key information they hear.Check the answers with the students.Divide the students into two groups to role-play the conversation.Then have them role-play the conversation with their partner.As they work,move around the room,offering help as neeeded. Finally,invite some pairs to act out the conversation for the whole class.3) Activity 2dFirst let the students read the conversation and find the answers to the following questions:a) What is Jenny doing? b)What is Laura doing?Leave the students several minutes to finish this task.Then check the answers.Have the students read the conversation again.This time,ask them to underline the sentences they dont know.Ask the students to role-play the conversation in groups.Then let them practice the conversation with their partner.Pay attention to their pronunciation.Finally,invite some pairs to role-play the conversation in class. Explain the following to the students.Language points1. Jenny:What are you doing? 珍尼:你在干什么呢?(你忙什么呢?)Laura: Not much.勞拉:沒忙什么。 Not much是用做回答的交際套語,還可說成 Nothing much, 相當于漢語“不忙什么;沒什么事”,表示自己有空。例如:A:What are you doing this evening?你今晚要做什么事?B:Well, nothing much.嗯,沒什么事。2. Do you want to join me for dinner?你想跟我一起吃個飯嗎?join somebody for something 表示“與某人一起做某事;參與或加入到某人的行列中一起做某事”。例如:Would you come and join us for a cup of coffee? We need to talk to you. 你來跟我們喝杯咖啡好嗎? 我們要跟你談一談。join / join in 的區別例如:He joined the League in 1985. 他在1985年入團。 I hope youll all join in the discussion.我希望你們大家都參加討論。 join 指加入某黨派、某組織或某社會團體,以及參軍等,還可表示參與某種活動。例句: I will never forget the day when I joined the Party.我永遠也忘不了入黨的那一天。 join in 通常指參加某種活動,尤其指和其他人一起參加某項活動。例句: May I join in the game?我可以參加這個比賽嗎? 用 join 和 join in 的適當形式填空。1. We are playing football. Do you want to _?2. You are welcome to _ us.3. He is against letting girls _ the club. 3. Id love to. 我很樂意。1) 作為一個交際應答套語,Id love to 經常用于禮貌地接受他人邀請,還可說成Id like to, 但語氣較前者稍弱。例如:A:Would you like to come with us to the show? 你愿意跟我們一起去看表演嗎?B:Thanks. Id like to. 多謝了,我可以的。2) 當婉言拒絕他人邀請時,英語多用Id love to, but 或Sorry, Im afraid I cant because 等。例如: A:Im going to town. Would you like to join me? 我進城去,你想跟我一同去嗎? B:Sorry, Im afraid I cant because I still have lots of homework to do. 真抱歉,恐怕我去不成,我還有好多作業要做。StepIII Summary:The Present Continuous Tense 現在進行時態1. 定義:表示現在正在進行的動作。2. 構成:am( is, are) + 動詞的現在分詞 3. 時間標志詞主要有:now,look,listen等。動詞現在分詞的構成規律1) 一般情況下,在動詞原形后直接加-ing。如: workworking dodoing playplaying2) 以不發音的字母e結尾的動詞,去掉e,再加-ing. 如: dancedancing comecoming3) 重讀閉音節單詞,如果末尾只有一個輔音字母,則雙寫這一字母,再加-ing。如:getgetting shopshoppingrunrunning swimswimming ExercisesDo you know how to get “ -ing” ?
