Generaldescription
Thebasicprinciplesofpower,energyandenvironmentparametersmeasurementsofICTequipment(temperature,hygrometry)andtheirtransfertothenetworkmanagementsystems(NMS)areshowninfigure1.
NOTE1:ThedefinitionofspecificNMSformobileorfixednetworksisoutofscopeofthepresentdocument.ThesamecommentappliestoOSS.
Thefollowingmeasuringdeviceareused:
wattmeterorenergymeter(W,Wh);and/or
Voltage(V);and/or
currentmeter(A).
Voltageorcurrentshallberecordedformonitoringwhenusedtoassessthepowerandenergyconsumption.Temperatureshallalsobemeasuredandrecorded.
NOTE2:Theenergyconsumptioncanbecalculatedfrompowermeasurementoveraperiodoftime.NOTE3:Humidityshouldbemeasuredatthelevelofroomorairconditioning,notatequipmentlevel.
