1.Installation

Inthefactory,ZD(J)9typeelectricpointmachineisassembledwiththeright-extensionstructure,whichistheleft-handedmountingpattern,Ifitwillbemountedontheright-handedofswitch,theprotectiontubeofthethrowingrodandlockingrod,thelockingrodandfeltdust-proofwasherneedtochangedirection.Duetothethrowingrodhastheconnectionholesonitselfleftandrightend,sothethrowingroddoesnotneedtochangedirection.Whilethereassembling,theconnectingsurfaceoutsidethehousingneedtobepastedwithsealedgluetopreventfromwater.Forusedmuchwell,wehavespeciallydesignedtheprotectioncoverforuserselecting.

2.Adjustmentforindicationgroove

Thegapbetweenthelockingindicationgrooveonthelockingrodandthelockingpostis2mmtowardeachside,itsadjustingdistanceis0～4mm.ThegapbetweenthecheckingblockandcheckingpostinthedirectionrodofZD(J)9-BandDtypemachine,whichisusedforthesecondthrowingpoint,is4mmtowardeachside,itsadjustingdistanceis0～8mm.Innormalcondition,thegapbetweenthecheckingindicationgrooveandthecheckingpostis2mmtowardeachside,itmaybeadjustedtousetopermitlessthan4mmgapinclosedsituation,whichisproducedbypointtonguedistortiononthesecondthrowingpoint.

Thegapbetweenthetrailableindicationsloping

grooveofthelockingrodandtheslopeofthelockingpostis18mmtowardeachside,whenitisusedintheswitchmovingrespectivelywithoutsidelockingdevice,thesuitablestrokeisthestandardofpointtongue±18mm.Whenitwillbeusedintheswitchmovingsimultaneouslywithinsidelockingdevice,itsleftandrightlockingrodorindicationrodcanadjustthemutualpositionofthelockinggroovesofleftandrightrods,liketheindicationrodofZD6typepointmachine,itsadjustingdistanceis±20mm,thesuitablestrokeisthestandardstrokeofpointtongue±20mm.Adjustmentforfrictionalclutch

3.Adjustmentforfrictionalclutch

Accordingtothestandardvalueofeachtypestatedbytechnicalrequirementforpointmachine,thefrictionalclutchhasbeenadjustedwellbeforeex-factory.Asfortheswitcheswhichmeetthestandard,itsthrowingforce(resistance)doesnotexceedthestandardvalue,thefrictionalclutchcanmeettheoperatingrequirementintheconditionthatitdoesnotneedanyadjustment.Ifthethrowingresistanceoftheswitchesistoohigher(orinnormalcondition),thepointmachinewillrunintheclutch.Determiningeachpartworksnormally,ifonlythethrowingresistanceoftheswitchesistoohighertoswitchnormally,atthistimethefrictionalclutchshallbeadjustedbythespecialtoolattachedinthemachine,seefigure,right-rotatedadjustmentcanincreasefrictionalforce,andleft-rotatedadjustmentcanreducefrictionalforce.Afteradjustmenthasbeencompleted,thepin-typeorno-pin-typetestingforceinstrumentforpointmachineshallbeusedtoexaminethethrowingforceorfrictionalthrowingforce.Thefrictionalthrowingforce,wesuggest,maynotbetoohigher,otherwisethereispossibilityofburningmotor.
