familiar形容詞，意為“熟悉的；常見到的”。常用于seem,look,sound等連系動詞之后作表語。befamiliarwith

sth.表示“對……熟悉”；befamiliarto

sb.表示“對某人來說……是熟悉的”。

Thesmellisfamiliartome.

我很熟悉這種氣味。

I'mnotfamiliarwithhersong.

我對她的歌不熟悉。

4.Sheforgotanoldfriend'snamewhenthatfriendreturnedtoChinaaftermanyyearsabroad.當她的老朋友在國外多年后返回中國時，她忘了那個朋友的名字。

return此處作不及物動詞，意為“返回”，相當于get/goback，常與介詞to連用，表示“返回某地”。

Wereturnedtoschoolthenextday.第二天我們返回了學校。

[注意]

(1)return不能再與back連用。

(2)return與home,here,there等表示地點的副詞連用時，不加to。

5.WangMeiwasalittleembarrassed,too,butherfrienddidn'tmind.王梅也有一點尷尬，但是她的朋友不介意。

mind此處用作動詞，意為“介意”，后面可以接名詞、代詞、動詞-ing形式。

Do/Wouldyoumind...?是一個征求對方意見或請求允許的句型，在回答時要注意：

(1)如果不介意，可以說“Certainlynot.”“Ofcoursenot.”“Notatall.”等。
