series.Allthesearespreadingamisleadingmessage—thesurvivalofthe
prettiest.Asthejobmarketgrowsincreasinglytight,manystudentsbecome
convincedthatgoodlooksareofoverwhelmingimportance.Theyresortto
plasticsurgeriesandexpensiveclothesandmakeuptobuilduptheir
confidence.Theypackagetheirappearancebeforegoingtoaninterview,in
thehopethatanattractiveappearancewillimpresstheinterviewerandmake
themstandoutamongnumerousapplicants.Itstruethatbeautyisamarketing
toolthatcanopendoorsoccasionally,butitdoesn'tfollowthatanattractive
appearancewilltakeyouallthewaytosuccess.In.myopinion,beautyis
skin-deep,andtruebeautyliesinthesoul.Afterall,whatthebossreallyneeds
iscommitted,competentemployeesthatproduceprofits.Ifyoureallywant
togetonintoday'shighlycompetitiveworld,it'simportanttounderstandthe
mythofbeauty.Oursocietyshouldplacemorevalueonintelligenceand
character.Boththemassmediaandeducatorsshouldhelpmakethemisguided
studentsrealizethattherichnessofmindisultimatelymorevaluablethan
goodlooks.
