Therearetwoenginebleedairsystems,oneforeachengine.Enginebleedairisfromthe5thand9thstagesoftheenginehighpressurecompressors. Atlowenginespeeds,bleedaircomesfromthe9thstage.5thstageairisnotsufficientforpneumaticsystemdemandsatlowenginespeeds.Athighenginespeeds,bleedaircomesfromthe5thstage.EnginebleedairsystemThemaincomponentsinclude: —5thstagecheckvalve —highstageregulatorandhighstagevalve —pressureregulatingandshutoffvalve(PRSOV) —bleedairregulator(BAR) —450℉thermostat —490℉overtemperatureswitch —precoolerandprecoolercontrolvalve℉:fahrenheit[‘f?r?nha?t]華氏溫標(biāo)℉=32+℃×9/5

Thehighstageregulatorandvalvecontrolthesupplyofhighstageenginebleedair.Thehighstageregulatoroperatesthehighstagevalve.Enginebleedairsystem3.PRSOV

ThePRSOVcontrolstheflowofbleedairfromtheengine.ThefunctionsofPRSOVincludesshutoffofenginebleedair,pressureregulationofenginebleedair(45psimax)andtemperaturelimitationofenginebleedair(450℉/232℃).4.BAR

TheBARoperatesthePRSOV.Enginebleedairsystem5.450℉thermostat

The450℉thermostatsuppliesthePRSOVatemperaturecontrolfunction. Whenenginebleedairtemperatureismorethan450℉(232℃),the450℉thermostatbleedsoffthepressurethatoperatesthePRSOV.ThiscausesthePRSOVtomovetowardclosebyspringforceandthenreducesthemassflowofbleedair.

The490℉(254℃)overtemperatureswitchprotectsthepneumaticmanifoldfromoverheatconditions.bleedairprecoolersystem
